We will have a bbq, a big cake and lots of decorations. Just cant seem to find the right theme. I do like your teddy bear idea, but I also like a sea theme. He's got lots of bathtime toys from "finding Nemo" movie, and loves water.

Hi Thato, my baby boy is also turning one in April (funny that); I am planning a Teddy Bears Picnic for him; I have written about planning the party (and other kids party ideas and tips) on my blog

My little girl Kayla will be turning 1 on April 10th; but we are having her party on the 11th. We are doing a cupcake theme, the colors are hot pink and purple. We would've liked a small party but our family is just too big.

My daughters birthday party will be the day before Easter. She is turning 1. It's a lady bug theme. Family and close friends will be coming. I have decided on doing apps for food and cup cakes for dessert. We have a big back yard so we are doing picnic activities...bubbles, croquet, potato sack race for the older kids. Just a fun day for everyone!

HI! My little boy Jacob turns 1 on April 16th. We are having a backyard beach party! I googled "beach them parties" and got a lot of hits on websites where people just shared all the things they did to make their party special! I bet you could do that with just about any theme. Basically, keep it simple was the motiff for the 1 year old b-day. The only extravagant thing we are going to do is we have this cute picture of him at the beach that we are going to get a cake made with teh picture on top, other than that just bbq and the other kids party gifts will be sand pails with treats inside. Have fun and happy b-day to your little princess!

My daughter turns 1 on April 2.  We're having a small family party on April 4.  Party City has two girly 1st birthday pattern.  Haven't really decided which one to do ... leaning towards princess theme since her birthday onsie says 1st Birthday Princess.    I also brought a cupcake cake pan so I'll be making her first birthday cake and cupcakes for everybody else.  So it is really going to be a simple celebration.
