My daughter has really bad dry skin on her chin, I have try using variety of lotions and vaseline on it but nothing works and it seems to get worst. Is there any advise you can give me?

It sounds weird, because of what it is called, but my son gets dry patches (not eczema according to our ped., just environmentally-caused dry skin patches...) on his forehead and cheeks and I use Earth Mama Angel Baby Bottom Balm. The balm is made of olive oil and essential oils and my whole family uses it when we have any kind of skin troubles like bug bites, scrapes, dry skin, or even, gasp, diaper rash, which is what it's really for. :) It's all natural and I always feel good about using it on my son's sensitive skin. http://earthmamaangelbaby.com

Sounds like eczema. Get some hydrocortisone cream (it's like $3 at the drug store or walmart). Use it twice a day and keep the area dry in between. Make sure you wipe the drool off her chin often and if she uses a pacifier, try to cut back until it gets better because the extra moisture around her mouth isn't going to help. Hydrocortisone is what my doctor perscribed for eczema on my daughters back at that age and it works really good for her and I've been using it on my legs since I was little so it's definately safe and effective.
