Ok, I'm trying to figure out a cute, creative, inexpensive father's day gift for my husband and my dad. Last year I made them both t-shirts w/ our son's footprints all over them (he just turned 1). I want to do something cute like that again, but different--not another t-shirt. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I am taking my 13 month old to a pottery place where they have silver clay. She is going to make a thumb print keychain for her daddy. The cost is $20. Maybe there is one near you.

For my husbands birthday a few months ago, I had my daugther paint him a card but instead of just plain painting, I let her drive her play truch through the paint and then drive it across the paper to make tracks! I took lots of pictures when she was painting! When it was dry I gluded one of the pictures in the middle of the paper! He loved it!

I figured that now that my daughter is one, she should have a large part in her daddy's gift this year. So I stripped her down to a diaper and got out some washable crayola paint and let her create a finger painting for my husband. It was a fun thing to do in the afternoon for us while he was at work. And I know my husband will love the personalized picture :)
