Hello. I am a first time mommy of a darling little boy born on April 3, 2008. What a challenge it was to have him. I was about to give up hope of ever having a baby when I found out I was expecting. My pregnancy was picture perfect...no morning sickness, weight loss (my doctor said because I was a larger person, that weight loss was good because baby was growing nicely and on schedule...most likely he was taking my body's stored fat deposits for himself) instead of gain. Baby was supposed to be large so I had to have him via C-section. All in all, that too went well...no problems and I was up moving around quickly and painlessly. If I could have pregnancy like that I would have more!

AJ was born 2 days after my due date...yes he was due on April Fools Day...and it is fitting considering my husband Charlie is such a practical joker himself. I see alot of his daddy in AJ already and he is only 9 months old! Has me worried already! He weighed 8lbs 4oz. The doctor had him estimated at 8lbs 11oz a MONTH before he was due. There was only 2 negatives to my story...gestational diabetes and baby wasn't dropping down to be born...that's another reason for c-section.

Hello to all April mommies! I am glad to meet you all. It is nice to share stories with others. People who don't already know the story...as I loved every minute of being pregnant and being a mommy and I want to tell the story over and over and over and...well you all get the gist.

Im a first time mommy as well!! My son was born April 5th at 3:39am! He was 2 weeks late, but I did everything natural.  The labour was hard though, all back labour and then he had colic, so we had a rough start but now he's amazing :)

Hi Becky. My first baby was also born on April 3rd, 2008. My pregnancy and delivery went well also. My man was 7.7 lbs when he was born, and I did it all natural. No meds or anything. I recovered quickly and was at the store shopping the day after I got home from the hospital.

And to top things all off with a great pregnancy and delivery, my son is an angel also. He isn't really fussy or anything.

I am also a first time mom in April, Jaden was born April 8 2008 in Kearney Nebraska. He came a week late but I was able to deliver him naturally. He is a big healthy boy! I too had an ideal pregnancy, except back pain towards the end.

Hi Becky I am a first time Mummy of an April 08 baby as well. Our little man was born April the 11th at St Joes in Hamilton Ont. but my delivery was unexpected and 4 weeks early, but our man is healthy and happy and thats all that matters. Hope you and your family are well
