help with car seat for small car

I need to find a second car seat for the family cars. I need one that will fit in a VW Beetle and our Britax Marathon is too big. Does anyone have a suggestion of what might fit in small cars. I was looking at the Evenflo but they too seem too tall. Thank you for your help.

We have a Mini Cooper - which has basically no back seat room - and we got a Britax Dipolomat to fit back there rear-facing! It's even remarkably easy to get our gal in and out of it.

I used to have the link for a site that listed a lot of car seats and all their weights/dimensions, but I can't find it now - sorry!



We really like our Recaro YoungSport (13 month old- hand me down from older brother), and also have Graco Nautilus (for our 3 yr old). We have a 06 Subaru Legacy (which has a suprisingly SMALL backseat) and a 08 VW GTI (which has a bigger backseat, more legroom) than the Subaru.



We like both carseats in both cars.
