Hey everyone...Misha is my first..everyone who see's her is like wow she's chunky..I dont see her as chunky...last week at her 9 mos appt she was off the scales for both weight and height at 30in and 22.4 lbs. I think she looks great.

My daughter just turned 10 months, is 28.5 inches, and 16 pounds. She's small because she's exclusively breastfed and I'm a small person. :)

My son at his 9 month appointment was 21.13lbs. and 30 inches tall! He is not chunky at all but he has cheeks, which I love!!!!

At Rori's 9 month checkup, she was 18.5 inches and 26 pounds. We used to have people comment all the time about what a big baby she was. I never understood that.

Misha sounds like my oldest who is now almost 8yrs. She was always off the charts too. She will probably just be a very tall and slender girl. My little one who just turned 10months is so tiny she's only 19lbs and 26 inches.

my baby george is 10 monthsw and weighs 25lb 5oz but is gonna be really tall when he was about 5 months he was a chunk but as he's got bigger he's shot up and has stayed around the same weight for around a month now that he's crawling

My son is 19.62lbs, He is smaller than his sister at the same age!!! I was concerned and went to the dr! she told me that he is healthy (just perfect... like all babies) I get told he is small for his age but I never listen because he is doing alot of stuff and eating like you wouldn't believe! go with your gut instinct... their is only one specialist when it comes to your child... YOU! you know best!!! Good luck!

Blake's 19.84lbs, he actually weighed more but when he became so active his weight dropped slightly. Can't remember his height.

My son Justice is 24 lbs. 14 oz and 28 inches tall... I think he's a big boy, but so cuddly... He hasn't started crawling yet so I'm sure he'll slim down soon...

19lbs 8oz and 28 1/4 in. Everyone comments on my daughters "chunky" legs.....it's baby fat and it's cute! Don't worry.........she be beautiful, just like her mommy!!!

My son is nine mths 2 weeks, and he weighs 9.3kg and is 73cm long,
he is only putting on 67g per week as opposed to the average of 90-120g
it is not how big they are but whether they put on at least the average per week and area growing at a healthy rate.

theo wes only 6lb 12 when born, was tiny for ages, then got really big, old people would always stop me and call him bouncy!!!! but now hes crawling and tying to stand up he is balancing out and is a healthy 21lb at 9 n half months. i think as long as they eat and are happy, you shouldnt worry.

I am a little relieved to hear about some of the more petite babies. My almost 10 month old is 18-19 lbs and 26". People kept commenting on how tiny she as, but she seemed plenty heavy enough! The Dr did mention at her last visit that she was towards the bottom of the charts. She is just so active, crawling and cruising everywhere.

my little boy weighed 21 lb at 8 mnths so he's probably not far off. don't worry what other ppl say, ppl say how big Connor is but he's about average for a boy and aslong as they are healthy and happy who cares. My 2 1/2 yr old daughter is tiny, she is 27lbs now

She is beautiful! Don't pay attention to what other people think or say. My son is 20 pounds and 28 inches and people say, "Oh he has chubby cheeks!" I don't care. :)

The bigger the baby, the healthier!!!! Are you nursing her? My daughter is 17lbs, her brother that was born in April, 5yrs ago,at the same age, was 23lbs at his 9month check-up...

My son Kearon is 9 and a half months and went for his 9 month measels injection last Saturday and weighed 8.5kgs (18.5 lbs). He loves food and just cannot stop eating and is crawling all over the show. Every child is different, you cannot go by what other people say.

People say my daughter looks chubby, she's only 18 lbs. and about 28.5 inches. Babies aren't suppossed to be skinny! Don't take what others say to heart!!

Most breast fed babies don't gain as much weight as bottle fed but it doesn't make them unhealthy. As long as they continue to grow on the same curve that is all that matters. In the midwest there are so many chunky babies that every one things my tall but skinny baby is "tiny". She is not tiny. She is 28 inches but she only weighs 16 pounds.

my son is around 9 1/2 months and at his last appointment he was only 18lbs which is weird cause he eats like a cow! he eats all day and still acts hungry! every baby is different so dont let people try and tell you that your baby is chunky... she will thin out and become as thin as a rail once she starts walking and running and stuff! shes at a normal weight! :)

She is very cute. My son Kyle weightis 21 lbs. and 29 in. People say the same thing, i just say "he's not chunky, he's very heathy and happy" Besides he crawls around alot so he burens of every thing he eats

keep trying to feed your baby even he/she has no teeth, my daughter only has one tooth, but it took me a couple tries before she would eat chunks, now she loves it!

My dd was 19 lbs and 29 1/4 in tall at her 9 month checkup. But, the pants that fit her then (one month ago) are too short now, so I'm sure she's taller.

my little guy is about 22 lbs and 70 inches. He's a great eater, but is soooo on-the-move that he only gains about 5-6 oz a month now. It's funny, though, my other 2 boys were big babies too, and my oldest is still really big, but my middle guy is as skinny as a rake! I guess the genetics kick in after they pass the "baby stage!"

My daughter is 9 1/2 months old and she was 18.2 lbs. and 29 inches at her check up. The doctor told us that she was going to be a tall girl, but I am only 5'4 and my husband is 5'10. She has my husband's body shape- tall and thin.

My son just had his check-up and I can't remember exactly what he weighs and his height(second child:)!) but I know he is in the 95% for height and in the 30% for weight. They say he's tall and skinny . He was a month early. Your child sounds just perfect to me. I come from a European family who love "chunky" babies!!

my daughter, isabelle is 9 months soon to be 10...she weighs 19.5 lbs and is 70 cms and people keep telling me i have a big baby but i don't think so she was getting pretty chunky before she started crawling...she is constantly on the move and doesn't to stop i am scared that she looses to much weight i try to keep her on a good eatting schedule but its hard when she doesn't want to eat.. what do i do if she doesn't want to eat because of her teeth?

My son had his 9 month check up yesterday and weighed in at 23lbs 11oz and is 30.25 inches tall. Misha sounds perfect to me! As long as you and your pediatrcian are happy with her development who cares what other people say! She's thriving so you're doing an amazing job! :)

My son is 30 inches and 27.2 pounds. He's always been off the charts but doc said he was ok at last week's well-baby. He eats no more than what is recommended. I personally love my"chunky" baby!

My son Landon is 26 lbs, 32 inch long, he's a tall boy but not fat. His last appointment was on January 29th. He turned 9 months January 23rd. He actually lost a pound this month due to crawling and being more active. He's so funny!!!

Mine is 25 lbs, 33inches, shes a big girl, well perportioned. so no i dont think shes big lol
