My daughter won't drink anything but milk in a bottle...

My one year old refuses to use a sippy cup. I am trying to eliminate the use of the bottle, but she won't drink from a cup. Plus she doesn't like anything but milk. I've tried different juices, water in cups and bottles and she just pushes it away. Now that she is not getting the water from formula, she is not getting enough throughout the day. We have tried the nipple-like sippy cups, and she does know how, she just does not want to. Any suggestions???

It will be hard but if you hold your ground he will reliezes that hes hungry and he has no choice but to drink it that is what happen to my little girl and don't let them see the bottles. Throw them away. Good Luck!!

I'm having a similar problem, but my son will drink juice and water from the sippy cup and will throw the sippy cup once he realizes there is milk in it! I've gone through several different sippy cups and some he won't even let get near him...its a little frustrating, but i think i'm going to try the cold turkey this weekend. He's stubborn and knows i will back down so I just have to hold my own...i'll let you know how it goes!

Well I went cold turkey with my little one. The first week she cried for it but I just kept giving it to her finally she accepted the sippy cup. I tried this sippy cup http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp... they have them for 6mo and one for 12 mo I went for the 6 mo. She like the nipple it is long so it easy for them. Good Luck!

My son is the same , he wont drink anything but formula! and he refuses to use a sippy cup it really sucks i will be walking down the street and get stares from people because they think my son is almost 2 ( hes a big boy and only just turned one ) if get any advice how to get your daughter to start useing a sippy cup please let me know!!!
