I just found out today my son is alergic to mosquitoes , and i was wondering if any other mom has children who are alergic to mosquitoes ..

my daughter gets a reaction also, she once had so many bites on her feet they swelled up so large she couldnt walk. My Dr said it was probably this bad due to mosqitoes breeding in dirty water. I use pawpaw ointment from a health shop with a plaster and this helps ( if I get in early enough!)

He's on antibiotics now it was extreamly infected pussing rash around the whole area and very swollen , he has a cream to take down the swelling but im not to sure what its called right now , His doctor said he was allergic ???

My daughter is the same. My dr said it's not an allergy, but a lot of kids just react badly to mosquito bites. her bites get huge, very red, swollen and hard under the skin. She will be 4 next month and she's had the same reaction since she was a baby. Nothing you can do other than put stuff on it (hydrocortisone, Caladryl, neosporin) and I give my daughter childrens Benadryl, it helps calm the bites down. this stuff helps. Hopefully she'll grow out of it!

I don't know if it is an allegry but my son blows up like someone gave him a black eye when he gets stung. It's horrible!It looks so painful! In a day or so it goes away and then nothin for a few weeks and then it happens again. Sorry about your baby though
