Hi, I'm Dana, Momma to five beautiful kids. Laycie is our baby and was born Apr 11, 2008. She's had a pretty rough first year. She was diagnosed with Epilepsy at 4 mths of age and put on Keppra for her seizures. Two weeks later the Keppra stopped working and she had 9 grand mal seizure in one day between 6:45am and 7:30pm with multiple petite mal seizures in between. She was pretty much asleep for that day because of all the meds the drs gave her to stop her seizures. Now she is a happy, healthy one year old. She still has seizure activity and around one grand mal seizure a month but we are thankful that overall she's a very bright healthy little sweetheart. I look forward to getting to know the other April 2008 babies and their parents too! :)
