my daughter is 9 ms and 1 wk and at her 9ms check up only weighs 19lbs 9oz and 26 and a quarter inches long! i was not concered cause i know all babie grow at different rates but everybody comments on how tiny she is for her age which now has me concerned!

Our daughter is 26 pounds but I find that she is very small, just the other day her grandma accidently put a 3-6 month shirt (her sister's) on her and it actually fit!

@ 15.5 mo our girl shot up to 31.5" and 24#, she was only 28.5" and 21# @ 1 year! Just barely made it to forward facing! LOL, she was born @ 19.75" 7.7#

My little boy is about 27lb and he's really tall... I'm not sure of his height but he's on the 91st% for height and weight. This is amazing as he was also 11 weeks early!! he is so solid... not very chubby but he's looks like a liitle muscle man haha!! he has really defined arms and chest. You'd never believe he was prem and so poorly not so long ago.

I took my little guy for his 15 month checkup today although he just turned 16 months. He is 28lb 1oz and 33 3/4 inches tall. They said he is in the 98% for height.

Also happy to hear about the wide weight range. Ciri was 31 inches and 20 lbs at 15months. She also just breast feeds and doesn't take milk (and I work fulltime). She, likes to eat but gets distracted and wants to do other things. Ive noticed she eats more when she's around other kids who are big eaters.
I used to be very concerned but the doctor said relax, look around and check out all the different body types in adults. As long as she eats, likes it and you get a range of different foods in her, just keep at it and she'll be fine.

Im happy to hear that about the weight. My son turned 16 mo on the 4th of August and only weighs 21 lbs. at 33in tall! I was worried my little guy was the only one to be low in weight. He's still breastfeeding and refusing cows milk! He seems to like soy but it doesnt have the fat for his little brain. Anyway he loves his fruits and veggies and I put butter on just about everything i prepare for him. Hang in there and its great to have this communication.

my son julian was born april 6 at a whopping 5lbs 7oz 18 in loong at his 15 mo appt he was 20lbs 75oz and his height was 30in he is a very picky eater and doesnt eat alot in one sitting but snacks all day its concerning but were doing our best to get his weight up

haha It must be a Madilyn/Madalyn thing. Mine is very petite for her age. She just had her 15 month checkup and she was only 19 lbs 7 oz. I can't remember the length but she's also short for her age. I don't understand because she's ALWAYS eating and she'll litterally eat anything lol she must have an amazing metabalism. i hope it sticks around when shes older!!

My daughter at her 1 year check up at the end of April was 31 inches and 22 lbs. She is now almost 33 inches but her weight hasn't changed. She often gets confused for an 18-24 month old.

its ok they have been making us stress about our daughter as wlel theres really no need they worry too much. our daughetr eats very little also she has 3 hour feeds on pediasure so a high calorie formula. shes only 8.5 kilos now and her gaining this much weight has only happened jst recently. try not to let them worry you and just persist with as many different foods as you can x
