Braxton Hicks?

I am in my 33rd week, almost 34th and I am having cramping pains...like their contractions but it goes away. I was induced with my first baby and everything went great! This one I kinda feel in the dark on alot of symptoms as I get closer to the due date. I don't want to rush into my ob's office every time with a question and to call, you don't get a call back right away so any advise? It doesn't feel painfull just very uncomfortable!!!

I am about 34 weeks and have had contractions for the last three nights that lasted from 1-2 hours and they have really been uncomfortable and even painful. Mine have been at regular intervals though and my midwife just tells me to drink as much water as I can handle, take an acetaminophen and lay down on my left side. Every time I do this, they go away and I am fine until the next night. Hopefully yours will get better or stop so that you can rest and not worry about it.

I asked my Dr. about them yesterday as mine seem to have changed. She said that they can evolve into different sensations as the pregnancy progresses - our bodies are just practicing. As long as they're not in a any certain pattern it's okay. I don't think there's much you can actually do about them though, other than sit down and relax if you've been feeling a lot of them (they can become more frequent if you're doing a lot of physical things). Mine used to be a strong squeezing feeling but for about a week now, they feel more like a bad stomach ache.
