What do all of you do for your daycare providers? I've heard 20% of the monthly cost, this is more than I spend on my Mom so wondering if there are other ideas out there.

you may think about getting together with other class parents and having getting a joint gift to be used in the classroom... also home baked cookies or hot cocoa or something little... It is a token of appreciation, 20% is insane, you pay their salaries with your tuition a small token is MORE than enough

My daughter goes to an early intervention program and has 2 teachers, 2 therapists, and 2 Bus drivers. There is no way I could afford to spend too much so I'm making fudge from scratch and filling little gift boxes as our way to say thank you! Hope this helps!

Hi Kyla, eventhough my child doesn't go to daycare but to preschool, I am planning on buying a christmas gift for her teacher. Something that she will like and that will remind her of my daughter since really it will be from her and not me. I never go with what is considered 'proper'. Times are tough so we must all act according to how we are 'able to'. Think of what she would like or what would be useful. If you can't think of anything, get her something related to Christmas. It really is the thought that counts.
