My daughter told me this morning that she doesn't like the potty. How do I get her interested in potty training? I've tried everything . . . using different potties, incentives (M&Ms), praise, etc.

You may be right, she just may not be ready. It's good she sat on the training seat today though. It's a start. Just keep persisting but ensure you don't place too much pressure on her to use a potty or training seat as it may scare her from trying. Good luck.

She has one of those too. I hate to think she's just not ready for potty training, but maybe she's just not yet, and will be in a few months. This morning I did bribe her with a piece of candy and she actually sat on the training seat. She didn't pee or anything, but at least she didn't pitch a fit and tell me she didn't like the potty.

Try a training seat on the toilet - you put it under the seat to make the hole smaller so she doesn't fall in - and see if she likes that better. My 6 year old never used a potty. She used a training seat and copied both myself and her sister.
