My little one is approaching the time in her life when she is now able to eat baby food. Well she is supposed to be eating it now, but the problem is, is that she will not eat it at all. She spits it out all over the place and makes a huge mess. What can I do to remedy this little mishap?

Spoon vs Nipple ... quite different sucking techniques to get the jobs done. It's completely normal .. and takes a while for the baby to get used to eating from a spoon (my experience). When I started my daughter w/foods I would flip the spoon when it was in her mouth so she could more easily suck the food from the spoon. I also end up making funny noises to make her open her mouth or spooning most of it off her cheek and putting it back in her mouth and she'll eat a little more .. on and on. There are many different techniques .. and your baby most likely wont finish off a whole jar at first.
Don't get discouraged. =)

im sort of in the same boat as my son will eat maybe 5 bites and then he is done and wont eat anymore. i dont know wheat to do either. i am not worrying though because he will start eating more sometime. no one refuses for long :) i just advise to keep trying some every day even if its just a taste and then she spits it out. it takes 12-15 tastes for someone to decide if they like the taste at this age. so keep trying and i hope for the best for your beautiful girl!
