Painful fetal movements

im 34 weeks pregnant as well and ive gained 43 pounds and counting...still got 6 weeks left and i dont know if i can deal with it...my stomach is tender to touch and it feels like the baby is just gonna rip out through me sometimes....my first baby was 8 pounds and i can only imagine this one probably is too...and i still have a little over a month to go

Im the same way. Im 31wks an this is baby #2 an It hurts so bad when My son pushes his body out. I talk to my doctor about it He asked if I nursed with my 1st son which I did till he was 7mths. He then told me that if I nursed then everything this time around would be more intense then my 1st. so maybe that helps some of you ladys.

Im only 25 wks an 4 days with my 2 pregnancy I have the same super painful to drop me to my knees pain when my lil boy presses his whole body out against my belly. I never had this is my 1st preganancy with my 1st son. even thought my son was only 6lbs an a mth early. It scares me how painful it really gets when he pushes. I have a doctors apt in 2 days so Im hoping he can either help or tell me good news.

Hi, I'm 34 weeks too, and I've been having pain when the baby moves around too. (My husband thinks I'm being a wimp, but I'd like to see a man do what women do!) It's not painful everytime the baby moves, just sometimes, more often for me at night when I'm trying to readjust in the bed, or get up to go to the bathroom. My doctor seems to think that it's normal as well. This is my second pregnancy and I didn't have anything like this with my first.

I am 34 weeks with my third child. I'm only 5'2" and very short waisted. I feel with less room for baby to move around, she will push on different organs and it can be painful. It is for me.

I guess it is very normal. I was walking with my husband one night and I got the worst pain ever that dropped me to my knees. Every once in a while she will shift and hit some nerves and it is the most excruciating pain. As you progress in weeks and they start to drop it can become more and more uncomfortable, the good news is, we are almost there!!

i am 34 week pregnant wih my 1st child, i can feel very uncomfortable when he moves, you can actually see my belly dancing, it hurts when im laid down, it feels as if he is shoving his arm under my ribs and when im laid on my side he will move his arm up and down my side, which can tickle at times, i will just walk around the bedroom for ten mins or rub my belly and he will tend to calm down then, must be a boy thing lol

I hear you. I'm 34 wks with my second boy and this one is just as active but I have alot more back & groin pain and also sciatica  then I remember from before. I would love it if he came a little early this time. Good Luck!

Im 37m pregnate and My active lil girl is moving right now giving me a hard time breathing. Its none stop. Painful indeed.

I'm 34 weeks, and I can totally sympathize! My little girl kicks practically non-stop! It really is very painful. I'm not sure what size you are, but so far, I've only gained a total of 20-22 pounds. I'm only 5 ft. Sometimes when she moves, it feels like she's scraping my ribs!

I do feel pain when my baby moves, but I just try to deal with it. There is nothing that can really be done, maybe change positions, walk around to move him around a bit or I just rub my tummy, which is what I do when I feel pain, nausea, sleepy, whatever-lol rubbing my tummy is therapeutic for me :)

Oh my gosh - I could have said everything you said! This is also my second boy and sometimes it feels like he's trying to get out through my belly button! And what's up with the river dancing??? The force of some of these movements amaze me - I didn't know a pre-newborn had that much strength in their limbs!

I am right there with both of you!!! At 32 weeks along I can't believe the force this baby has in my stomach. It can be very painful but more strange than anything. I really don't remember my first being this way.

i guess the longer bub stays in, the bigger they get and when they move at that size in that small space, it definitely tends to hurt. for me, i can almost feel as if she is digging her heels into me sometimes and all i can say is it is NOT funny....

I've been having painful fetal movements for a while now.  My little boy is VERY active.  He presses so hard against my belly I can typically tell what he's pushing with, usually either his feet or his little rear.  My husband & I just sit back and watch my belly roll while he kicks, stretches, or dances in there.  It's hard to believe he still has 6 more weeks of growing left to do.  I can't imagine my belly being any tighter or stretching anymore!  My OB actually told me her little one was the same way with her last year.

I can completely sympathize with Laura's post. My baby boy loves to push his feet against my back and push his back/bum towards the front of his tum - it stretches my poor tum out really hard and is extremely uncomfortable. I've already been told he's going to be a big baby but there are days when I just don't think I can go another 8 weeks :(

Yes, I have a few sensitive spots that my daughter loves to kick and recently she just found my ribs, ahh!! But last night she did a flip or something that took my breath away, ouch!

When mine decides she wants to completely flip or be in my ribs... ouch! She's gettin pretty cramped in there so I would assume that it's pretty normal to have some discomfort. Only a few more weeks...
