I never thought my sweet little Angel would start to throw tantrums...but they have been slowly building and escalating to a serious tantrum! I can never get her diapers on correctly anymore, because she fight so much by rolling over and screaming. Any suggestions how to combat?

my son does the same. It frustrates me but if i put something in his hands to play with and sing, he will stay still for at least 30 seconds.. gotta be quick lol

we have been having this problem for months! the only way i can get her changed without getting poo everywhere is to give her something to play with in her hands that she doesn't normally get to play with like the tv remote or the phone or something that is usually off-limits and therefore ever so much more tantalizing!! otherwise she struggles and twists and i will nearly have to hang her by her feet to get her clean, i figured i would rather distract her with something she can't normally have than chase her naked bottom around the house!

my little guy does the same thing, I just put on some music...I have a cd with Elmo singing...he loves it!!! As soon as the music comes on, he looks at the player and smiles. I also give him a little toy he can play with while I'm changing his diaper. It always helps when it's a new toy or a toy that he only gets to play with during diaper change.

Mine has been doing this right after the bath and sometimes during the day! I try to distract her by making her laugh. She cracks up when i pretend to bite her legs or her belly.....so i just have to do that while i change her...whatever works right?! hah

I have the same issue. My son will speed away as soon as the diaper is off or the clothes are. I many times have to pin him down and lay my body partially across him just to get a diaper on. Its crazy but it works same goes with buttoning the crotch of his clothes after changes

I have a similar angel... hahaha She is mobile now so anthing she has to sit for causes her to tantrum! I have, against previous judgement, to amuse her with distractions. I bring out the toys, play cartoons(PBS Its a Big World), and what ever will work! I never thought I would do any of that but its a phase! I also know her teething is part of it so I keep cold teethers handy.
