My 14mth old daughter has been a bum shuffler since 10 months & has never crawled, as didn't have tummy time due to medical reasons! I feel that walking is still quiet a few months off yet! Does anyone else have a bum shuffling baby, and if so, what age did they start walking??

my daughter 21 months she bum shuffles everywhere since she was 11 half months she still not pull her self up i am getting worried she picks other things up quick need some advice doctor doesnt seem to be worried but i am

A child in a childcare I worked in bum shuffled for months. She got very speedy! She learned to walk (can't remember what age, but before 18 months), then learned to crawl afterwards when she watched the other children. Your girl will still walk when shes ready, just like a crawler, I wouldn't worry about it!

My 13 month old shuffles with 1 foot in front & 1 behind. He is now walking around things well, can walk a little wobbly while holding 1 hand & occasionally stands on his own. He didn't get a lot of tummy time because he didn't like it & only crawled "normally" when on carpet (we have hardwood floors).
My friend has a 17 month old who did the same scoot & I think her baby started walking about 14 months.
