Double stroller for a compact car

We have a phil and ted's classic and have not used the second seat yet (bub is due in about a month) so can't really say how it will go, but we bought that particular one as we liked the fact that the second seat can just be added and doesn't really take up any more room than the single pram on its own.

I have the Phil & Ted Sport...my kids are also 26 months apart, and I got it when the youngest was about 4 months old. They are now 4 and almost 2, and we still use it regularly. I like that it has the "jump" seat that you could hook on the front when the smaller one was napping, and then hooks on the back. My 4 yr. old rarely rides anymore, but it's nice to have the option! It also turns MUCH better than the Sit & Stand, and is the size of a single stroller. We'll be taking it with us to Disney World this summer too.

i have 22 month twins plus a 3 year old the 3 year old walks every where, the twins have a double steel craft stroller fits into a mitsubishi lancer no worries.

My kids are 21 months apart & my 1st won't be 2 until April. I've invested on the Phil & Teds Explorer and extremely happy with my investment. I've only use it with the car seat adapter for newborn with my toddler in the double seat attached at the rear. She has no problem with the limited view. It's so easy to handle with one hand & folds easily.....

I got a sit and stand Joovi but my 23 mth old hated it. Instead went and got a strider plus with toddler seat. I love the strider pram. Have original strider dlx so was already in love with it. My son who turns 2 in April loves to go for walks in it . It is compact and easy to use. You can get a car seat attachment for your baby that you can use on the pram as well, so no need to wake them up to put them in the pram. The baby faces you in this pram and your toddler is also at your feet for easy to reach and talk to as well.

I would suggest a bike stroller. We have a schwinn and it folds flat, tires & handle comes off. We would acutally put the infant carrier right into the stoller & there was a little bit of room left for the other little one, or I would put blankets in & surround the baby. But I had large babies(9-10 lbs each) so they seemed to be sturdier faster than my sister-in-laws 6-7lb ones. I found it extremely useful & still do. We use it as a stroller and behind the bike. Its extremly easy to push, too. I got ours at Canadian Tire, on sale for $150 & it was worth it. We now have three kids & I will put the youngest one in & load it up to go to the beach or to the neighbors for a fire in the summer. I've even used it in the winter.

II have 2 children 17 months apart and I bought a 2nd hand Phil & Ted pram (single pram with double attachment) and I love it. Can put second seat on top for newborn to lie underneath. Then place seat on bottom level when #2 is sitting up. Also can get a little carrier insert so newborn is nice & snug.

By June your first will be 30 months. Big difference in age. My first was out of a stroller mostly by then and completely by 36 months. I personally think that a sit n stand is the better and cheaper option as you won't really get any use out of a double buggy to be honest. It's amazing the difference 6 months can make to a Childs sleep patterns!!

I've got twins and a small convertible, so I needed a REALLY small stroller for that car. The smallest one out there was the Jeep Allweather double stroller, which is basically a sturdy umbrella stroller for 2. It's fine for rolling around stores, but it has no storage space. We only use it occasionally, and I got it off Craigslist for $40.00, but it's pretty reasonable new as well.

I love my Combi double... It fold up then in half to the size of a regular stroller also you can take the whole thing apart and wash it!!!! My kids are 4 and 2 now and I STILL use it :)

try 'tike tech' that is what we are using. we paid around 350 through babies r us, good reviews online - we have had it for about 8 months, we like it. we have travelled a lot with it plus it is one of the only double strollers that fits through a standard doorway. wheels are removable and it has a great storage basket and lots of pockets for storage too
