I was just wondering if anyone had some advise on the 3 F's?! (first finger foods) to start with. My daughter is 8 months old and have tried some but not sure what else to try.

Get creative and think healthy! It will depend on how many teeth your little one has though, you don't want it to be too hard to chew. I give my girl so many different things. She loves all soft fruit of course cut into small pieces, banana, peaches, apples, blueberries, strawberries, cantelope, watermelon. Also small pieces of mozz cheese, those puffs are great, also the yogurt puffs.

My son likes the Gerber graduates puffs, yogurt drop thingys and the Gerber finger snacks that Sarah mentioned. He will also eat a cut up banana, toast or biscuits, rice cakes, and crackers. He usually ends up trying something new off Mommy and Daddy's plates daily so the list could go on and on... however those are the things he feeds himself all the time. Oh and watch out for the Biter Biscuits by Gerber, they turn into a clay-like substance when they start to soften up and are a real b*$%^& to clean up after. :) Have fun, watching my guy try new foods is something I really enjoy doing.

my son loves banana cut up in small pieces with toast cut into soldiers with the crusts removed he also loves little squares of mild cheese

That's a great website! I also use Baby Mum Mums and Gerber Graduate Puffs. My son also really likes peas and baked sweet potato pieces as well as small pieces of banana. He's also starting to refuse a spoon and would rather shove his hands into everything and eat it that way! Good luck!

the Gerber graduate snakes (star shap one) are great my son just loves them, he also loves cooked carrot, sweet potato, avicodo in smaller pieaces. and yeah the cheeris I agree he finds them to tough yet.

My little one loves the Gerber graduate finger snacks for crawlers. They look like cheese puffs and are very easy for her to eat. There are 4 flavors; cheese, zesty tomato, veggie, and maple. There are also yogurt drops that she loves too, also Gerber. Cheerios are still a bit tough for her. :) I hope this helps since it is so fun to watch them eat!
