I am so excited. My lil man said his first word yesterday and it was 'Ma Ma'. I don't think I have ever smiled so big than when I heard him say that. Now he just keeps saying it all the time and it is the most beautiful sound in the world to me! Of all the words he will say in his lifetime, I was the first one and noone can ever take that special moment away from me.

When did/has everyone else's April baby start speaking and what did they say?

My son's first word was Mama. He said it in November, when he was 7 months old. When he first learned it, he would say it over and over again. Now he only says it when he is crying for me or wants me to pick him up. We're still trying to get him to say Dada, but all we get is Baba.

I'm happy for you, it truly is an exciting event!

It is a wonderful sound to hear!! I hate to admit it, but even when my son is in a horrible mood and is cranky and crying, and starts yelling "MA-MA! MA-MA!" My heart just skips a beat and I rush in to make him all better!! It is such a wonderful thing to hear!!
