my son is 10 1/2 months old and only has two teeth, he was born 4 weeks early, but seems to be on track with everything else, even walking! he has had two teeth for the longest time and i dont even feel any more coming in. is this normal or should he have more by now?

MY SON IS 11 MONTHS OLD AND HAS 8 TEETH. 4 UP TOP & 4 ON THE BOTTOM, BUT I KNOW A COUPLE OF 1 YEAR OLDS WHO ONLY HAS 2 TEETH. SO U SHOULDNT WORRY. BESIDES MY SON HAVENT EVEN BEGUN TO WALK YET. IM PATIENTLY WAITING.

There is a huge range of normal for everything with babies, don't forget! Mine is 11 months and just cut his first two molars, his ninth and tenth teeth. He's been getting his teeth either two or four (yes, FOUR!) at a time, every few months. He's at the early end of the curve on that front, but was near the later end of the curve for crawling, so every part of their development is really drastically different for every single baby.

ya my daughter is 10 months too and she also has 2 teeth only which just started showing recently, but she's not crawling but like to stand and take steps. i guess its normal ......

my twins were 2 months early one has 8 teeth and the other 2 they are 10.5 months old i was told not to worry some dont get any till a year its not unusual. good luck

My son will be 11 months old in a few days and he only has two teeth I feel the other ones coming but there out yet. I wouldn't worry about the teeth as long as everything is on track it really doesn't matter there teeth come when they want as far as I've seen with both my kids. Hang in there they will come.

my daughter is 11 months old, and NO teeth. She won't eat lumpy foods yet either, she filters out the lumps and the peas, etc, end up on the bib. She will only army crawl too. So far, she has been VERY different from my boys (now 7 and 9 yrs)

there's nothing wrong with that. every child teethes at a different time and reate. my son is the same age but he has 4 and a half. but his 2nd 2 came in long after his first two

Nope- not the only one! My baby girl has only the bottom 2 teeth & will be 11 months on the 11th. My son already had 6 0r 8 by this time... they're all different.

my daughter is 11 months and has 10 teeth.. but my little brother didnt get any teeth till he was almost 15 months.. its not a bad thing though they say the sooner there teeth come in the worst.. my daughters teeth are all crucked because they came in so soon and athe sooner the more susceptible to cavities

my daughter will be turning one in five weeks time and had been teething since about 2 months old but only had two teeth come through just before christmas and since then no more has come through, i was worried as her older sister had 99% of her teeth by this age but you have to realise all babies are different and they will come through when they are ready

My boy Noah is 10 1/2 months and has 8 teeth 4 on top and 4 on bottom. But his cousin is 1year now and only has 2? Just shows how they are all individual little people that develop at differnt speeds :)

Don't sweat the teeth; a lot of babies don't get teeth until after their first birthday. My friends daughter was 14 months before she got teeth and my daughter is 10 months and has six teeth; so they all get teeth at different times.

My daughter is 10 months old and was born 2 1/2 weeks early. She is skinny but reallty tall. She has eight teeth. I guess she is a head of the game. lol

my daughter is 10 1/2 months old she has 8 teeth and three coming in at the top. She has four at the bottom and four at the top with three more coming in. She was 2 weeks late but she is a breastfeed baby, I'm still breastfeeding her. Her teeth started coming in at 2 months old.

My son is 11mths old and he has 7 teeth. 4 at the top and three at the bottom. First two came in at the bottom, then 2 at the top, which took like a month to fully come all the way thru, 2 more at the top came in. Then just recently another tooth at the bottom has shown up. Every baby is different, for a moment, when he was 8mths, I thought he is neva gonna get any teeth. And dats when it all started. Of course his teething and teeth cutting through caused fever (high fever) and everything else...whew. After the first four teeth, we didn't have to worry abt dat anymore....So I wouldn't worry too much because just when you think no more teeth are coming, they start busting outta those gums...:-)

My 10 month old doesn't have any teeth yet. She goes in and out of teething spells, but nothing yet. I've heard the longer they take to come in, the healthier teeth they are.

my lil boy is 10 1/2 months and has 7 teeth , he got his first on xmas day .
the rest came in quickly after that . but anywhere between 4 and 18 months is normal .
so your bubby sounds just perfect :)

Hi. The first baby teeth are said to come in at approx 6 mths of age, but this is only an approximation. In reality they can be as early as 3 months and as late as 12 months (if not longer) The first teeth to come through are usually the lower central insisors, although there are always exceptions to the rule. My daughter got her first tooth at just over 9 months and this is completely normal. Usually children have all 20 baby teeth by 2 1/2 years of age. Hope this helps.

Got one of those babys myself. Daisy has been on solids since 3 months. So much easier now only have to prepare family with 1 meal instead of 2.

My son is 11 months old and is working on his 7th tooth. He has 3 top teeth and 4 bottom teeth. He is cutting his fourth bottom tooth right now. He started teething at 3 months. He was born 10 days late.

I wouldn't be too worried, but if you are check with your pediatrician or dentist.

My 11 month old only has one tooth. That's it, just the one so far, with the second slowly trying to pop through. And he is so cranky because of it. I'm really not complaining about his single tooth though, he can't really bite me hard yet when he breastfeeds at least!

My daughter was born April 4.2009 and up until yesterday she had two teeth. This morning she has 4 new teeth. She has been teething since around 4mos. She took her first steps the end of Jan and by feb she walks everywhere. Now she walks in circles through the day like she is doing a marathon. lol My son only had 4 teeth by his first birthday and had just taken his first steps and never crawled. He's 14 now.

I guess it just depends on the kid!!! All 3 of my children were different, so if i were you i wouldn't be too worried! Like i said, be your luck and they'll all come in at one time!!!

Hey, my son is also 10 1/2 months and is just now getting his 2 top teeth in. One of the teeth is dropping down on the top, but the other is slowly coming in. I didn't think his 2 top teeth were ever gonna start coming in! I think it's normal though...we may just have those children that are gonna get all their teeth in at once!!! That's gonna be no fun for us! We're gonna have some fussy babies!!

My son now has 4 teeth. Two up and two of his teeth dolu.Tretiyat from above is almost pierced the gum and every moment will izleze.Parviyat his tooth came out when besha for 7 months and is now 10 months.

My baby was 13 weeks early and has 4 teeth but is not crawling yet. Each baby is different and it also depends on when you and your husband/partner got their first teeth. I wouldn't worry to much as he will catchup and will soon be biting you :)

Its perfectly normal. Ever baby gets their teeth at different times. My son is 10 months and 5 days old and has 6 teeth. 2 on the bottom and 4 on top.
