My daughter gets a bath twice a week but I wipe her down a little every night. Just curious how often others are washing.

Every night before bedtime, it helps him sleep and he loves a bath.

Both of my girls enjoy bathtime, so I bathe them every night about an hour before their bedtime. Like other people who have posted, I've had other people tell me that I bathe them too often but I've had no issues with their skin, etc. If anything, they're more relaxed when they get out & sleep better through the night!! :)

I do pretty much every night. Sometimes I skip a night but not very often.

our LO jumps in the tub every second night, unless it's hot and he was messy then he gets a shower in between.

Hi, I bath Archer every night although there is the odd night we don't get around to it. Unfortunately Archie sicks up after most feeds and poos very regularly so I like to bath him every night. He loves bath time, I think he looks forward to it. My husband has a great time playing with him in the bath.
Being a swim school coordinator I find those babies and toddlers who play in the bath and have had water over their head from a young age will adjust to swimming lessons more easily and have no trouble with putting their face in the water.

Ellie gets a bath every other day. We bathe her more often if we do something like go swimming. It also depends on your baby's skin type and the climate you live in. If it's really dry and cold I would only bathe as needed or 2 times a week max. Ellie loves her baths, but I don't bathe her daily because I don't want to wash away all of her natural oils and dry her skin out. Lotion and baby oil just doesn't compare to their own natural oils.

Lily gets a bath everynight. SheLOVES the water in any form, pool, bath, anything. It's a way to extend time between feedings and keep her happy before bed.

I give my baby a bath everynight. It is part of our bedtime routine. I feel it helps both of us relax and wind down. Plus he can be a stinky baby sometimes so i have to wash him.

I bathe my little boy every night at half six, after that he has his bottle and bed and 7, he then doesnt wake up until about 7.15 the following morning, I've always been very strict with this routine and he has slept through like this since he was 8 weeks old. :o)

Not every day, just when I notice he's not smelling nice. For big spitups/blowouts between baths, I usually just hold him under a faucet of running water and rinse him off. I also have a spray bottle of water & baby soap I use for "spot cleaning" (during diaper changes, and if he gets spitup in his hair. . .).

My son used to have an oil bath every other day and a sponge bath on the days without oil. That way his skin was silky soft (and the oil helped with the flaky baby skin). But on days that he wasn't exposed to much we'd slide on baths. Now, he loves to get a bath everyday because he knows he's going to get a nice massage of lotion before he lays his head down to sleep.

Hi Michelle, my daughter is now over 4 months old and we've been bathing her every night since she was a month old.. she looooves bath time so it's not a chore. She had mild eczema but it's all cleared up now. I wash her face in the morning and night and put on her eczema cream. and wash her hair every night since i kiss her head too much, it gets oily and she had cradle cap. And then she takes her bath! She loves it.

isabella has a bath every 2nd day unless she has a major blow out up the back, then she'll get an extra one. she has dry skin, so sorborlene cream massage head to toe is also relaxing for her. when the weather warms up i'll might bath her daily, will see.

River had a bath every night before her last feed and bed, she loves being in the bath and i tires her out ready for bed, i moisturise her all over and have a little tummy time then bed and she sleeps all night till about 7.30/8am!! Just recently the routine has changed a bit as she is teething so i'm bathing her in the morning rather than at night as by 8pm shes falling asleep in her chair bless her!!

Pattrik gets a bath every night. It's our normal bedtime routine: cereal with fruit, bath, bottle, bed. I think that it's really helped his night time sleeping, because before it was terrible trying to get him to go to sleep at night. He has terrible cradle cap so his ped. recommended washing his hair every night and putting baby lotion on his head.

Hi michell, Liam has reflux and is quite a mess by night time so I tend to bath him every night, plus I find he realy enjoys his bath and it helps to settle him for the night. Some say u dont need to bathe so often but i think its a personal thing, I know I like to have a shower every day and feel rotten if for some reason I dond and I'm not pooing in my poants and being sick all over my self all day so I tend to think that he prob feels uncomfortable too. He has no skin complaints and I make sure we put plenty of moisturiser on him so he doesnt get dry skin, but at the end of the day I think it is important to do what u and ur baby find best! Hope this helps. xxx

we play with Lilyana 3-4 times a day in her wee swimming pool. It's the only way to keep cool, in the South of Spain. Can't go to the beach or even out of the house for the majority of the day, as the sun is so fierce. So between playing and then the last one of the day, which is her bath, she's in the water alot. But the last time is always with daddy, and then followed by a massage, milk and bed till the next morning. Lily is 16 weeks, breastfed and sleeps 7-7. Lucky us!

I only bathe my little one about 2 times a week with a wipe down of face and neck every day... unless she has a particulary messy diaper or we were out and I put sunscreen on her. They don't really need more than that.

I have 4 month old boy/girl twins and I bathe them every night as part of their bedtime routine. They enjoy their baths and sleep almost till 5am which is awesome. When on the days that we are out at bathtime I usually just use a washcloth before bedtime especially on my son as it spits us soo much during the day.

Owen gets a bath at least everyother day. However, he sometimes gets on everyday depending on how many times he has thrown up that day. I could just wash him down with a warm cloth but it only takes me a few minutes to give him a bath and he loves it. Also, if your baby has baby acne try rubbing a little vasoline on it. I know it sounds crazy because it is grease but, honest to God, it clears it up in a just a few hours. Also, rub on a little breast milk.

I wash my baby every day around 12 pm. She sweats a lot and thankfully LOVES her bath time! We don't use any lotions. Our doctor said not to use any creams until she was about 6 months old. My baby had a little acne the first 2 months. My mother in law told me to use fresh chamomile for her bath water. I boil the chamomile and let it cool down and them mix it with more water and use this as her bath water. The only soap I use is Dove sensitive skin bar soap. This has taken her acne away! And she seems to love the chamomile. She sucks on her hands with the chamomile water all over them. :)

Amelia goes in the big bath with me everynight before bed, mainly because she loves the bath so much and itsa nice bonding and play time for us together. She used to have a bath every night in the living room in her baby bath but since she's learnt to splash and leave my carpet wet through she's been in the big bath! I also clean her face, neck and ears every morning.

I give mine a bath every night but it isn't because he's dirty. It helps calm him down before bedtime and it's become part of our bedtime routine. If things get hectic and he's tired, I skip the bath but he really only needs it a couple times a week.

I wash Kalynn down with baby wipes almost hourly around her face and neck because she LOVES to drool and blow bubbles, but an actual bath... maybe twice, or 3 times a week... the doctor said not to do it too often because it washes away their natural oils. But I'm starting to think she may need it more now that she is older... it just feels right.

My son loves his bath, but we have very hard water, so it is tough on his skin sometimes. We bath him every second night, before bed. And every morning I wash his face, neck, armpits and I rub down and comb his hair. On the nights he doesn't get his bath, I will wash his face, neck, armpits and rub down and comb his hair. And I also use a wet face cloth on my finger and clean his mouth twice a day.

However when I get back to Calgary with normal tempitures he will probally have it every second night again. I wash him with a cloth on the nights in between bath time. My daughter LOVES bath time, so we stick her in the tub every night before bed. I've had people tell me to bathe her less, especially since she has eczema, but she's fine since we apply moisturizer several times a day.
