i like to do it every night as it gives her something new to do and gets that last bit of energy out before bed.....except now she is climbing really well and tries to stand up and climb on the sides ofthe bath...scary! i have gone 3 days before though, just from being busy.

hi i bath both my kids every night unless im running behind. i dont wash their hair every night though. I do it as part of their bedtime routine! no different than top and tailing so have always done it so they feel fresh x

Iree gets a bath usually about twice a week. We have done that since she was a newborn and she has never had much problem with cradle cap or skin issues. She loves baths, but she doesn't get dirty enough to bathe her daily. We always wipe her hands and face after eating and use wipes during every change. I just don't bathe her as much because her skin needs those natural oils to not get too dried out.

dry skin conditions run in my family and frequent bathing leaves him needing copious amounts of prescription creams. I prefer the sponge bath method, making sure he is completely dry, apply baby oatmeal cream and once a week in a tub.

about every 3 days. It's hard when i have another kid. I bathed her every night as part of her bedroom routine. lucky for us, the baby doesn't seem to need a bath to relax and get ready for bed.

Hi I had to Laugh when you asked that question cuz I have 2 older step children that are 5 and 7 so between making sure they don't go to school stinky I forget to wash my own daughter. no biggy though shes never gets horrible dirty anyway, So honestly its about every 3 days. sometimes 4 shhh.. I bath my baby every second day, she gets dry skin so on the days i dont bath her i use her wipes and give her a wipe down, i got told its not necessary to bath bay everyday unless you have to.

I bath my babies every second day just for the simple fact that it will make there skin dry but I also was told the hospital here in Calgary that it is bad to wash your babies everyday because it will dry out your scalp.

I bathe my son in the tub once a week...but i wipe him down everyday with a washcloth...sometimes a few times a day if he makes a mess with his food...hes a baby...he dosent get that dirty!

I bath my daughter every night just before her bedtime. After her bath she gets lotioned and we put her jammies on. Within a half hour after that she usually eats a bottle and then goes to bed for the night. I've been doing this since she was 2 days old and she's been sleeping through the night since she was 6 weeks old. I find that she knows her schedule now and she tells me when she's ready :)

I also have twins I now bath every night and due to now eating solids it gets very messy. But prior to solids I would only bath every 2 to 3 days. I also have babies that don't get very smelly or dirty. But Lila I found that if I bathed my boys after their dinner feed they are both happy and content full of food so I can do it without the other one cracking it while waiting.

We do it once a week, sometimes twice but sometimes less. It is very hard to find time to do & with twins it's hard to keep the other happy while bathing the first. I will spot clean them daily. And as soon as I can bath them together increase it. For now they not oily, dry, smelly or what not and my doc says it's fine. Best to you, and keep doin' the best you can!

wow, i bath ally like once every 5 days and she is just fine, doesn't smell or have any skin problems etc. baby wipes are my favorite baby tool:) they are great for after feedings and bibs are very useful too

when it was colder i would bath her every second day but now summer is here she is bathed atleast once a day and if she has a second bath i don't use soap. i usually bath her after her lunch because if i do it earlier then i will need to again anyway, messy eater. And at night time i'm usually trying to get everyone fed and in bed that i don't get much free time to bath her.

Every night or every other night depending on what chores/errands we were doing that evening. My daughter spits up alot so she usually gets a bath most nights. And she gets lots of good spelling baby lotion too!

I tub bathe my baby every three days so it doesnt dry out her skin too much, however, I do give her a wipe down with some soap and water every night that I dont bathe her. Mainly aying close attention to her hands and under her neck since she constantly puts her hands in her mouth and she drools so much.

AvaJoy only got a bath about once every two weeks...she had really bad eczema (dry skin) and my Dr told me not to bathe her more often then that until it cleared up...in between I would wipe her down with baby wipes when I thought she needed it....Her skin is just now starting to clear up and so I've started bathing her about once or twice a week....depending on life and how dirty she is :)

up until he was 6 months old I bathed him 3 times a week as he had dry skin and any more would have made it worse. However, this last month we have built a bath into his routine every night 30 min before bed time and its daddys job so he can spend some fun time with our son after a day at work. I bult it in because he is being weened now and I find he can hide bits of food in the most amazing places!

Lil Cody has a bath each night. Like some of the other ladies, its part of his night time routine, and helps to settle him. We have been doing this since he was 3 months and since that time he has slept through, at least 11 - 12 hours a night, so must help we figure x x

I bath my baby girl every night as part of her bedtime routine, helps her switch to nightime mode - she baths with her big sister and loves her baths. She starts getting cranky around 5-6ish and then I know its bath time, then I have a happy baby again!

I give Caleb a bath once or twice a week. It is cold and dry here, so I don't want his skin to get dry and chapped. Plus he doesn't get that dirty. He takes baths with his big brother and loves them.

I actually bathe my son twice a day - when he wakes up in the morning, and then again before bed. I started out doing it the mornings only, and then he started have a very restless period in the early evening before bed, so I did it then too because he finds it very peaceful (and it helps tire him out for bed!). He loves it so much I just have kept doing it. To avoid drying out his baby skin I oil him after each bath with a natural baby oil. He feels and smells gorgeous all the time!! :o))

mitchell has a bath every night before his bottle and bed, sends him off to sleep, I put lavender oil in the bath as it relaxes him and is also good for his skin as he gets eczema.

I bath my daughter every morning. Every once in awhile I will have to bath her at night depending on how she eats that day. lol :)
