Hey Guys,

I am a single Mum to a girl who is two and boy who is five!

I just felt the need to share what worked for me when it come to potty training!!

BOYS: I was at my whits end when my son was 3 and still wearing a nappy. A friend told me to put a ping pong ball in the loo and tell him to aim.. I was like "Wouldn't it get flushed?" but after having the ball in there for just three weeks my son was keen to aim and fire!! It worked for us :)

GIRLS: My daughter is my April 2009 babe, just recently she has been taking her nappy off and stripping down to nothing while in her cot. I have started getting her up at 4-5am and putting her on the potty.. so far so good! 5 mornings - 5 wees! I always sit down and hold her hands and ask/show her how to push.. but it's just wees now and its working!!

Let me know how you guys are going..

great work. i have three girls. 7, 2 and 11months. my eldest was still in night nappies until she was 4. but my 2 yearold is almost out of them. she takes her nappy off during the night if she wees, sometimes will go to the toilet. I always recommend the ping pong ball to parents of boys as my mum used it with my brother and he loved it. Not sure how the third child will go but will have to wait and see. my middle one is very independant and has been sleeping in a big bed since 20months (her choice not ours) she does things when she wants to, not before or after. lol
