Definitely eat more fruits and veggies and more water. Eat smaller portions more frequently. Cut out the white flour and sugar. Try honey or agave nectar or even stevia as a sweetener. Get plenty of sleep (ya right!). Also, you could start trying a 30 min walk or job 3-4 times per week. Put the baby in a stroller and go! Hope this helps!

Hi Deborah,

My husband and I started P90X last week. It's a diet and exercise program. The diet is pretty easy, it's basically making good choices, counting calories and portions. The exercise is more intense, it involves weightlifting and cardio. I use little 5lb. weights.

After a week, my stomach shrank and I lost 2 lbs. My husband lost 4.

I have a lot of friends who are doing the program now and they all love it too!
Good luck!

Get a diabetic foods book it will help alot when things have carbs you can take away the grams of fiber in that food from the carbs to get your net carbs! Good Luck oh yeah and sugar free carnation instant breakfast is great when your busy way better for you then slim fast. Drink that instead of skipping meals the more little meals you eat the faster your metabolism will stay!

I know this sounds hard but, eat like your diabetic. Lower carbs, lots of protein low fat protein, cut sugar, and add lots of veggies and fruit. Oh yeah and skim milk will increase your loss 3 glasses a day. I lost 126 pounds it seems hard but, it isnt once you get used to it. And remember everything in moderation you can still treat yourself, I used to save saturdays for kinda of day off just dont go bananas!! good luck..

Hi there, I've lost a total of 23kgs over the last year. At first I just ate healthier in general, cut out bread which was a biggie love homemade bread and drank lots of water. Doing that alone i dropped over half of that weight and then I found my weight plateau i just couldn't drop anymore. Then my partner who was also trying to lose weight, lost all his on a blood type diet so I thought I would give it a try and its the best thing i've ever done.

Just by "googling" this you can find all the info you need for free. I also was given a book called "the eat right diet" by Dr Peter Dádamo. It was really a great read and just made real sense to me. So anyway i stick to eating foods that are really beneficial for my blood type A, and its easy because it makes me feel so good, I'm not tired, I have energy, and best of all, the side affect of eating this way is that you end up achieving your ideal weight and keeping it off. I managed to drop the last of my weight this way. I highly recommend to just educate yourself, and focus more on lifestyle and health, once you get those balanced and right for you, your weight will fall too.

Oh and walking, lots of walking, we go out every night as a family for a walk, at least 30 mins it doesn't even feel like exercise as we're all catching up talking about our days as we go.

Good luck, I hope you find what works for you.

All the best

Hey!! I lost all of my baby weight on a weight loss challenge with Herbalife!! A natural shake and vitamin mix. :) The skakes are really yummy, and the vitamins help activate your cells to make sure all the nutrients are going to the right places in your body! I honestly look forward to making my shake each morning! I went down 6 jean sizes and I feel amazing! It's tough with a new baby, but this really gave me the energy I need... plus, my daughter is getting all the nutrients she needs from my breast-milk! Its a win win situation! Seriously.. if you have any questions about it please e-mail me! (c.viseth@gmail.com) I would love to tell you more, I know how hard it can be to lose the weight after having a baby!

I've lost about 6 inches of my waist, thighs and buttocks for eating smaller portions, drinkinga lot of water and doing alot of exercise. it takes a while but you'll see the difference in no time.

Hi, obviosly the best ways to lose weight are diet and exercise. Dieting doesn't mean eating less it actually just means eating healthier and more times a day in lesser portions. So instead of 3 big meals have 5 small ones...You can find 'eating healthy' tips everywhere online and there are a million receipes you can follow that best suit your lifestyle and food tastes. The best way I found to lose my baby weight was actually by drinking alot of water...like 2-3 liters of water a day. It helps get rid of the water weight your body carries to prevent dehydration...once you start hydrating your body frequently you actually lose weight! If drinking that much water seems difficult it really is not, carry a bottle with you everywhere and you can even mix in tea (camomile, green tea etc.). One other trick I found was to drink V8 in the morning for breakfast, it gives you all the energy and nutrients you need to start the day, plus it is healthy and has like no calories. I lost all my baby weight in 4 months. Hope this helps.
