There is a product called Thumb, that is like a nail polish that tastes bitter. I found it at Walgreens in the baby section. It's worth a try!

My son is 2 & he also bites his fingernails has for a few months but hasn't bite his toe nails yet

Waiting for others to reply. My son started biting his nails just before he turned 2. Sometimes his toe nails yuck. Pediatrician said he hadn't seen this at such a young age but shouldn't be harmful. I'm not so sure.
