i agree with catherine. Mine takes 2-3 naps during the day for about 45 min. each and goes to bed between 8-9pm....then wakes up around 6 and ill either stay awake with her or breastfeed her and she'll fall back asleep until 8am.

I'd seriously consider reducing the number and length of the daytime naps. My 8 mo daughter naps for a maximum on 3 hours during the day and goes from 7-8pm to 6.30am and if she does wake she settles herself back to sleep (unless her teeth are causing her problems).

i would try not to let him sleep so much threw the day my lil boy has 1 or 2 sleeps threw the day then between 7 n 9 he goes threw although he does wake sometimes but not for a feed he goes straight back over

i put him down at bout half 6 and he is asleep by 7 if i go over that time then he becomes really restless and it then takes me 4 eva 2 get him 2 sleep. he has naps threw out the day he sleeps about any where between 20 mins 2 an hour every 2-3 hours should i try and make him miss 1 or 2 ov his naps threw out the day.

Have you tried giving less during the night and more during the day? I'd move an ounce per feeding to a day feeding until you aren't feeding at night anymore.

As to the 4am wake up, what time does he go to sleep?
