My son who is 10 months sleeps through the night takes a morning nap and afternoon nap. My son is also very active he's up with his brother and sister in the morning before school and if we got to the park and he's been active he's asleep by the time we get home. I noticed when my son is teething he is up more during the night.

My son is 11 months and he has been trying to switch to ine nap also. Right now we have a one nap day followed by a two nap day, then back to one. If it's a two nap day I try and limit his first nap, I like to have him awake by 11 am so then he is ready to nap again at one when his big sister does. That's the theory anyway it doesn't always work.

My son will be 11 months on 29th march & he's recently got into a routine of having a half hour ish nap in the morning and an hour - an hour an a half in the afternoon OR around a 2 hour nap in the afternoon and he's still (touch wood !) sleeping through the night. Goes to bed about 7pm & wakes about 6am....
It took him until about 9 1/2 months to get into this routine though so I think he may be catching up on 9mths work of interrupted sleep lol !

My son is almost 11 months and he used to nap 3 times a day. Now he takes one nap after breakfast for about an hour and one after lunch also lasting about an hour. But the morning nap is getting less frequent.

My son Ethan is 10 1/2 months and is taking one long nap in the afternoon from 1 to about 3. He used to take a small morning one too but he absolutly gave that up a few months ago. He still sleeps through the night but we had to move his bedtime up from 9 to 8 p.m. because he was getting cranky and tired with only the one nap.

My daughter is 10.5 months old, and for as long as I can remember she's a 1 nap kinda gal. I put her down between 12-2 and she'll nap anywhere from 1.5-3 hours. Then I put her to bed at 9 and she'll sleep until 7:30 or 8.

My twin girls were 10mths on the 29th and we don't really have a routine for sleeping through the day. They usually wake every monring bewteen 6-7am have breakfast, anppy change a playtime until they get tired which could be anywhere between 2-4hrs after they first wake. They usually sleep anywhere from 20mins-1 1/2hrs. They have lunch around 12-1pm, nappy change, playtime then again they are up anywhere from 2-4hrs another 20min-1 1/2hr sleep then dinner anywhere from 5-6.30pm. At night I religiously feed, bath, playtime and they go to bed between 8-8.30pm, earlier if they are tired and they sleep all through the night. Through the day I let them tell me when they are tird as there is no use forcing them to sleep if they are not ready or they will just lay there crying and screaming.

I would love for them to sleep longer at nap times through the day so I can get things done around the house, but I can either get bits and pieces done while they are awake if possible or spend hours trying to get them to sleep when they are not ready. The way I look at it now though is I would rather spend time with my babies then have a spotless house.

Our son usually takes two 1 hr naps during the day and then goes to sleep at 6 and sleeps for 12 to 13 hours without waking up. Its amazing but had to wait til he was 5 months young before a whole night of sleep, but loving it now.

Before my little girl started getting teeth she was a GREAT sleeper. Ever since she started teething she fights sleep. The more teeth she gets seems like the worse she sleeps. She just turned 11mos yesterday.

I finally got my little boy (11 months) into a routine..My son, takes naps from 9 in the morning till about 10:30 an then from 14:00 till 15:30. In the evenins he goes to bed at 19:00.

my son is 10 months. takes a am nap and a afternoon nap. has slept all nite since 6 weeks old. most kids do shift to one afternoon nap a day. which is great cuz they will be welll worn for the night and sleep all nite for u. check out the sleeplady.com shes got some great advice too =)

my daughter is 10 1/2 months she is up at 8ish takes a hour nap at 10:30 and is ready for another nap for 2 1/2 hours at 1:30 and is sleeping by 7:30 through the night..and then the routine starts all over the next day!

My son will be turning 11 months old in a few days but his naps have completely stopped over this past month. He used to wake up at 7am, nap at 10am, back up at noon, down again at 3:30pm, up again at 4:30pm then bedtime at 8pm and he'd sleep through the night. But over the course of his 10th month he's completely stopped napping at all. He still sleeps through the night but he's wide open all day long. He's just not sleepy and I can't figure out the sudden burst of energy.

my daughter turned 10months on the 21st, she has a hour nap around 9am and 2pm then goes to bed around 7.30pm normally sleeps all night till 6.30 6.45am

My son turned 10 months on April 21st he gets up bout 6-6:30am then down for a nap for about n hour round 10-11am. Then he will have his next nap n e wear between 2-4pm then down for the night n e wear between 7-9pm. He used to sleep right till bout 3am then have a bottle n back to sleep till 6:30. Since he got teeth he now wakes twice sometimes three times in the night. How to get him sleeping through i dont know???

Brooklyn is 10 months old and he takes a short little nap in morning, it depend what time he goes to bed, but he always takes one. It lasts anywhere from 30-1hr, but the afternoon nap can go from 1-2 hours and I LOVE that one! He sleeps through the night if he is put down after 9pm. Still haven't gotten him crib trained, but for now its not a big issue!

My daughter is 10 months and recently has been only having one 1hour nap a day, but i think thats because shes teething, but normally she will have an hour in the afternoon and one in the evening and normally always sleeps through the night, only if her teeth really play her up will she wake during the night, but always goes straight back to sleep xx

my son turned 10 mos on the 28th..he takes no more than 2 naps a day. usually the first is around 2PM and the other is around 5PM. some days he takes a good hour nap and others he'll sleep for 10mins! i luckily havent had any problems with him sleeping thru the night tho. if he does i can usually give him a few sips of water n he's back asleep, he never was a fan of the pacifier.

My first son was the same way, no a.m. nap by about 10 months, but usually slept about 2+ hours in the afternoon. My second son who is 10 months now still takes a 2 hour nap in the morning, a 1 1/2 hour nap after lunch and still usually a 1/2 to 1 hour nap late afternoon and sleeps through the night - I think he sleeps too much, but he needs every minute of those naps otherwise he is super cranky! I think every baby is different you just have to take what they give you!

My 10 month old started doing that a few weeks ago. He's happy until about 12 then he's ready for a nap. But, it's only like 1 - 11/2 hours. My older 2 boys took 2 naps until 1 year old. Even when they took 1 nap it's be a long enough nap. We'll he's happy.

My son Logan is 10 months-he gets up around 7-730am does his breakfast and lunch routine then takes a nap from about 1130-230, gets up has a snack, has dinner around 6, then we give him a bottle around 730-800pm and he goes to bed for the night. My cousin-in-law has an in home daycare that we take Logan to. They have been super helpful with routines. He has had this routine for about 2 months and is doing awesome. He is such a happy baby.

Hi, my daughter is 10 mths and usally wakes up at 8 ish naps once for about an hour ish ..sometimes two once a day usually about 1 ish. She goes to bed around 8. Was sleeping through but recently been waking up a few times...dont know why!!

My daughter is 10m and 2 weeks she takes a nap for about to hours at 10am then goes back to sleep at 3pm for half hour to an hour! Then she goes to sleep 8pm and sleeps until 7 in the morning. There are days when we just skip the 3 o'clock nap depends on how she feels that day but I myself realized that if she doesn't take the 10 o'clock nap there is hell to pay lol♥ hope this helps♥

My son turned 10 months old 4 days ago. He used to wake up around 730am, take a 2 hour morning nap, then take a hour afternoon nap and then a 30 min cat nap around 6pm. Then would go to bed around 930pm and sleep through the night. The past couple of days have been a change for me. He takes an hour morning nap and the takes a 30 min cat nap around 6pm. Drives me nuts!!

WOW!!!! We get up at 6am and my daughter will NOT take a nap at day care! Sometimes if they are lucky she will do down in the morning anywhere from 30 min-2 hrs...Normally no afternoon nap...but she does sleep for about 30 minutes when we drive home. She is in bed around 7 sometimes later not normally though. She does however SLEEP FOR ME! I make her take a nap in the morning and the afternoon when we are home on weekends. It does not effect her sleeping through the night!

What a great kid! Good luck with your nap stuff. Sometimes when you need a nap is the best time for baby to take a nap!

My daughter Luveena is going on 11 months and still takes 2 naps but am finding that if we are out and about during the day & the time goes past 4pm she misses out on her afternoon nap which she gets by til half 7 but this also means she gets too tired to eat her solids for dinner so I still always make sure she doesn't miss out on the 2 sleeps. I believe when they get to 12 months they go down to 1 nap but they are all still individuals & different for each bub. I am desperately hoping she stays on 2 naps til then as I am 6 months pregnant & it is my saviour at the moment...

My daughter will turn 11 months on March 6th. She wakes up between 7 & 8. Nap at 10 for 1.5 to 2 hours. Then a second nap around 2:30 for an hour or two. Then goes to bed at 8pm and wakes up twice in the night wanting a bottle. I need to make her cry it out but it seems like everytime I try she gets sick and messes up the whole routine. It took my son 2.5 years to sleep through the night.

My son has been waking up between 7 and 8am. He goes back down for a nap around 10:30/11 for an hour. He won't t take another nap until around 3:30/4 and it's only for 45 minutes or so. He may take a little cat nap around 6:30/7 and than goes to bed around 9:00/9:30. I wish my son went to bed around 8 and slept through the night. When he goes to bed he wakes up once and goes back to sleep on his own.

Our routine is sleeps at 10 and 3 bedtime at 8, sleeps last for 45 mins up to 2 hours average about 3 hours sleep during the day, still waking up twice a night but always has :)

my daughter has just turned 10 months old her routine is- wake Up at 7am, down for morning nap at 9.30am till 11.00, back down at 2pm for afternoon nap till 3.30/4pm, then down for the night by 7-7.30pm.

My son didn't drop his morning nap until he was over a year old, so I am anticipating this hour long morning nap she takes from 9-10am to continue for a few more months. She takes an afternoon nap that is a couple hours long, and then sleeps through the night with one waking at 3:30am (which she goes right back to sleep from).

My son normally takes 2 naps a day one in the am and one in the afternoon each lasting between 1 to 2 hrs each but lately he has only been taking one around 2 and then another around 6 then up for ever before he is off to bed for the whole night

My daughter turned 10 months on the 21st and she used to take 2 or 3 naps during the day lasting 20 minutes to an hour long now, she takes one nap between 2 and 2:30pm and sleeps for about 2 and a half hours for that nap and goes to bed for the night between 7:30 and 8pm :-)

yeah mine has been waking up sometimes at night too....i just sooooo want her to have 2 naps still during the day just to be able to get things done around the house and maybe sneak in a relaxing cup of coffee ;)

my son will be 10 months in about 5 days. on a normal day he naps for about an hour in the morning and about 2 hours in the afternoon, and sleeps through the night. however, for the last month or so, we've gone to one nap a day, either late morning or early afternoon and a whole lot of night waking *sigh*
