Do you have a lot contractions daily? I have a lot of braxton hicks and some contractions. But am so scared because enough of either of those and I will be having the baby shortly after.  I know 34 weeks is such a great place to be, but I still feel like the baby is being cheated. I had 1 of my sons at 36w3d and he was fine and able to come home with me. He nursed well and everything. I would love to get to that again......

Keep praying :)

You girls still hanging in there? I will be 34 weeks tomorrow and am just praying to get there. Another 1-2 weeks would be truly in Gods Hands :)

I am about 34 weeks and i went into pre term labor around 2 weeks ago.. and it just seems to never end.. i have a 14 month old little girl who is still getting used to walking so shes everywhere! and i am on bedrest.. i am a 19 year old single mother who will admit i have no idea how to deal with this all right now... any good stress relievers or ideas for entertainment for a 1 year old, send them my way..

I am now home on strict bedrest. I will be 33 weeks Saturday. Home bedrest started back at 23 weeks because of preterm labor issues. Went to the hospital at 24w to get the steroid shot. 28 weeks had contractions and was admitted to the hospital. That bed was my home for 4 weeks. No showers, no toilet, no sink. I am married and have a 10 yr old, 6 yr old, 3 1/2 yr old and a 21 mos old. It was horrible for all of us. The crying and the heartbreak was just unbelievable.

Well I am home now and just praying and hoping for, at least, another week. But I am truly grateful for for everyday.

10 weeks of bedrest complete! Would love 2-3 more.

hey - i started a community group for hospital bedrest or home bedrest mommas - you can join it (i think it comes under the search)....

i'm 30 weeks with my 2nd son (i have an almost 14 mth old) and had a sudden surprise of hospital bedrest that began last thursday when i was 29 weeks.  i have a really short cervix that is funneling.  the cervix length is at 1.8 cm, but the funneling from the inside is causing an internal dilatation of 3.  i was having contractions, so they have put me on terbutiline to keep them at bay, and they monitor me and the baby several times daily.

it's killing my heart to be away from my sweet baby boy, strohm, and my husband, reed.  everynight that they leave the hospital, it feels really empty in the room.  but there's HOPE that once i get to 32 weeks, my doc MIGHT send me home on strict bedrest, so i have everyone scheduled to take care of strohm from now until who knows when.  but just being at home would really lift my spirits!

Hey I'm 30 wks and at my last appointment they hooked me up to a monitor and said I was having contractions..but I couldn't feel them! Luckily they didn't put me on bedrest they just told me to rest as much as I can, drink lots of water and not lift anything more than about 10lbs. I was so relieved that they didn't put me on bedrest although I'm worried that they might if they find I'm still having contractions at my next appointment..I just can't imagine being stuck in bed or on the couch all day, I think I'd go stir crazy. Good Luck with everything and hang in there!

I totally understand and relate. I am now thirty two weeks and have been on strict bed rest since 28 weeks and in and out of the hospital. i am now home on terbutaline at home and trapped. I also have a twenty month old who has to deal with mama on bed rest.
