hello, i really need your help as to weather your child throwing herself on the floor and bangin her head on the flor cupboards etc in a massive strop that can last upto 3/4 of an hour. i have tried puttin her in a cool down spot restraining her so she does not hurt herself but i cant seem to help her she seems to be getting worse, im tempted to buy a crash helmet to stop her banging her head but have no idea where to get them.
Any advice would be really appreciated :)

I think sometimes they like our reaction. Try to show her something else she can do instead; like hit her dolls head on the floor; hit her head on a pillow instead, etc. I also agree that putting her in the crib to keep her safe, but also show a consequence could help. Try to be calm when she does this & when you bring her to crib, etc. My 20 month old sometimes chases me & bites me & laughs. The more I react upset, the more he does it. I have to take a deep breath, get down to his level, look him in the eyes & nicely say, "we don't bite, we hug. Can mommy have a hug?" and he hugs me.

I know my son throws himself down but than he quits but if he did that hit his head and stuff I would put him in his crib till he calmed down so he wouldn't get hurt
