When my daughter was 10 months old (she's 11 mos now) she was 29in and 20lbs so i dont think she's unhealthy....as long as she's eating right and her doctor says she's in a good percentile, then there's nothing wrong with our "long and lean" babies!

My son is 11 1/2 months, 22-23 lbs, 30 1/2 inches long. He's wearing 18-24 month clothes. He was a much chubbier baby, though he's slimmed down when he became more active. He's maintained the same weight for almost 5 months now, but he's grown inches.

I think as long as your doctor says she's in good shape then she is. My son is almost 11 months old and about 22-23lbs I would say but you can't really compare your baby to other children, just like in other areas of development, they all progress at their own pace.

she sounds fine, you shouldn't compare with other babies, just remember they need to double by 6 months and most will triple by 12 month, birth weight. though if mine tripled she would be 27.3lbs at 12 months! which looking at her is quite possible.

No sweetie, she is good. i was thinking the same thing about my baby. My daughter is 28 ins. and 19 lbs at 11 months, the doctor said she is fine, she is not gone be thick n juicy cuz of her length. She is going be tall just like my baby....lol! You have nothing to worry about.

My daughter is 10 months and she weighs 27 lbs and she is 32 in. She is off the charts in height and weight, She was born one month early, and amazingly enough she is walking now! Her daddy is 6'5" and her sisters are off the charts tall too, so I expected nothing less from her.

My daughter is 11 months and is 24.2lbs and 29 inches tall. She is in the 97% with her weight and measurements for her age according to her little blue book. As long as their weight is in the healthy range you have no problems.

I agree with the other posters. All babies grow at their own pace. My daughter weighs over 22lbs at 10 months old but my friend, whose daughter is 2 weeks older than mine, says her baby weighs only 16lbs. Your daughter sounds perfect. :)

Not at all, my son is 29 inches 19 lbs, the doctor said that is perfect, it means they are going to be skinny and tall! As long as she is eating well, pooping well, and is generally looking good you have nothing to worry about mom! :)

Hi my son is 73cm and is 20lb at 11 months ut my daughter is 3 and a half and weighs 26lb and is 93cm so they are very different and it depends how active they are or into food they are my daughter would never eat if i didn't make her as long as they are healthy and happy thats all that matters my daughter weights the same as an 18month old but she is very healthy.

I agree all kids are different My little guy was small when he was born but now at 11 months he is 20lb and 28 inches. We are just happy he continues to grow and is healthy even if some people say that he is a little on the chubby side

My daughter is 11.5 months old and is 30" and weighs about 22 pounds and my neighbor thinks I am not feeding her enough as she got taller with out gaining weight due to the fact that she started walking the very first day of her 9th month birthday (so to speak a monthly birthday heehehe)

my daughter is probably about 29 inches and is about 23lbs 10 1/2 months...they say she is on the heavy side. i think she looks fine and a healthy baby. i am sure that your daughter is well within the average.

My daughter is 11 1/2 months old now, she only weighs about sixteen or seventeen pounds, and is 26-27 inches. She's a dainty little thing but she has tons of energy and is perfectly healthy. Don't worry, I would say, unless she acts different or the doctor says something.

me, too!!! at nine months, she was 29 inches and almost 20 lbs. i keep worrying about her weight, too, but her pediatrician says she's following her "line" on the growth chart so it's ok. don't worry! all babies are different. i'll try not to worry either, lol.

As long as her doctor says she is growing steady, then no worries. My foster baby I am adopting is right about the same weight only he is shorter..lol Some kids are just small, but the growth chart has him at a steady pace.. Does she eat well? Sleep well? Is she on target with development? Those are more the areas of concern..Mine eats like a pig, but still just small. I wouldn't worry if I were you, she sounds like she is doing just fine.

There are babies in all sizes. Eric is
on the big side at 32inches and 25 pounds. Most assume he is 18 months but he's only 11 months. Big or small I think we all worry about being average. But I'm sure the moms of average babies worry about other stuff too. Don't worry because I'm sure she is her perfect size!

If your daughter is to light I am in deep trouble. My daughter is 11 months and she weights 16 lbs 12 ozs and is 27 inches. My doctors keep telling me each child is different. As long as she is going in the right direction then I wouldn't be concerned.
Mary Lynn - posted on 03/09/2010
she sounds just perfect to me. Every child is different, so try not to compare your child to others. As long as she is healthy and happy, that is all that matters! Our little guy is also 10 months and my guess is he is around 22lbs
