What are your baby's favorite things to do?

My baby will be 11 months on the 30th and he absolutely loves his Daddy, so the answer to this question is easy. He loves to do whatever Daddy is doing, if Daddy is on the computer then he is on the computer too, if Daddy is reading something then he is too. When I'm at work they play outside and explore..I am amazed at how much he loves to just be outside and he loves music, any kind of music. He has been walking since 9 months and he thinks he can do anything...painting, stacking, banging, you name it we have tried it.

My baby loves colour pencils and loves to sketch (since he is not smart enough to draw yet ) :D . He loves anything that can rolls such as dumbell, fan, tyre, and all his toys that can roll. He loves the notebook, TV remote, playstations joystick, airconditionar remote (any remote actually) and will press the button to see what will happen next. Hahaha.
And regarding on the books, my suggestion is to get the pop up type of book, so that he will be attracted to anything that is on that pop up sheet. The main focus is to make the baby loves books. Usually it's too early for the baby to recognize what he sees, but whatever he sees will be kept in the memory for future usage. Meaning, in future , he will be a fast learner , thanks to the mother that put effort to open his mind earlier. My baby will turn to 1 yo on 4/4 and we will travel all the way to UK to celebrate his birthday. Wish us luck!!

My daughter loves to "read" books -- her favorite being turning the pages. When she closes the book she'll say something that sounds like, "All done!" It's cute. She will even grab the book she wants and take it to the sofa, a sign that she wants some official story time with Mommy. I love it! :) She LOVES going to the park in our neighborhood, the swing is her favorite -- although, she's become a recent fan of the slide. She loves to be pushed high on the swing and just giggles as the wind blows through her hair. She loves to walk anywhere -- but she refuses to hold anyone's hand. She's little Miss Independent (which kind of scares me). She loves to play with her baby dolls (giving them kisses and carrying them around), stuffed animals and her toy cell phone. She dances to all kinds of music as long as it's got a fun beat. She puts everything in her mouth so I'm kind of afraid to start with the arts and crafts just yet -- I am really looking forward to doing those fun painting sessions with her. :)

My little girl turned 11 months on the 16th. She loves to do certain things, but not as advanced as most of the others on here. She loves to play with the dogs and their toys (tries to eat their bones, yucky!). She cruises well along the couch and chairs. She has one particular toy that makes noise that she is scared of but is getting used to it. She has another noise making toy, a ball that moves by itself, that she absolutely loves! She has been using a sippy cup for a couple of months now.

hey! thats interesting... my 17 month old boy is crazy after balls n every 5 mins. he says ball once... he makes me draw ball on the paper as well.... basically i can say he walks, talks, eats thinks everything ball... luves to kick any ball that comes his way.. his second times pass is watching latest hindi songs on you tube.. i try his rhymes but my big boy only wants songs...

TATIANA,My little one She loves to play with anything musical. she loves to press all the buttons and watch the collors light up, she really likes to hear classic music like Beethoven or Mozart ....I THINK IS THE BEST WAY TO RELAX UR BABY ... :D

Becca is 11 mos, she LOVES dancing and moving to music...either by herself or with myself or my husband. She bops up and down, claps and giggles...it's too cute.

She also loves playing Peek-a-Boo with us. She even pulls a silk butterfly scarf of mine over her head, and when I ask "Where's Becca?" she pulls the scarf down, and when I say "Peek-a-Boo!" she gives me the biggest smile!

I have a 16 month old little girl her name is aubrina and to keep herself occupied she watches all of her elmo dvds and is constantly watching finding nemo she also loves to ride her 4 wheeler and her mickey mouse train. She also has a elmo live doll that tells her stories and dances so that is where most of aubrinas time is spent...

My Lil' Girl who just turned 1 on the 16th, knows some parts of the body such as: fingers, hands, feet, toes, bellybutton, head, hair, mouth, knows how to clap her hands, loves to dance & sing at least she think she's singing (hehehe)... Loves buttons when she sees them on ppl's clothes, loves to take everything out of my or anyone's purse & make-up & pretends she's doing her make-up like Mommy :o) Loves PPL's phones, it's amazing how she also plays w/EVERY single toy she has & let me tell you its a lot... She loves putting the TV on mute w/the remote, loves going to the Play area at the Mall & just starts climbing & sliding down WITHOUT my help :o( She likes hiding items under the couch & then she'll lay on the floor to look underneath it & tries to reach in for whatever item she hides. She LOVES messing w/the light switch on/off over & over again... Loves climbing on the couch & getting off it as well, and loves getting off our bed which high btw (I get sooo scared sometimes but I just watch & if she gets hurt I just tell her its ok shake it off & I help her if she wants my help sometimes she just gets back on her own lol)... We're 1st time parents & we're amazed on how our Baby is, we were expecting her to be scared of everything but little did we know I guess b/c we see other babies around us & we expected the same from her, but that's why you cannot compare babies EVER, you shouldn't it's not fair to the other parent's who kids are so scared & timid and what not, every baby is different in their own ways & we should all appreciate how our babies are... Just a lil' advice I've always been around ppl that are always comparing their babies/kids to others and is not fair to the children... Just enjoy what your Baby does & embrace it & enjoy every moment of it w/ur love ones... It such an amazing feeling, we're very proud of how our Baby is, but some times its scary though as a Mom lol... But at the same time it tells n shows a lot about her personality & love it... Another thing she does a lot too, she says Thank you when you give her a toy or food, etc... And its awesome to know that she's so easy to teach all these things, that's why I'm so blessed to be a stay at home mom & I want to make sure I don't take it for granted... Phew, I think I've said plenty... Sorry, if I bored u guys ;o)

well my son is very active and he loves all sorts of things... my two year old loves playing with CARS, TRUCKS, AND PLAYING SPORTS he really enjoys playing baseball and playing with any types of balls like . baseball,soccerball,tennis , basketball and golf... He loves to be outside on his bike , or scooter ... Maybe because he has older brother,and sister...I couldn't believe my eyes when i seen him first play on the wii game he is so hooked but they have preschooler game its called jump start he loves it... it has music to follow along and sing.. shows them there shapes, colors,and numbers and alot more activites... really good... i said he can't play this and he proved me wrong... My son also loves when we read to him , he gets our figure and follows along... its crazy ,i don't believe sometimes.. but we been reading to him since he was a baby...my 10 YEAR OLD SON JOSEPH loves too read, play, and draw its his new favorite thing now... My daughter Jocelyn she is just so girly she loves painting nails , reading , doing her hair and playing mommy with her brothers.. when mommys not home she makes sure there doing what there suppose too... That's why she's my princess.....

My little man just turned 1 on March 16...his favorite thing to do now that he has learned to walk is to explore inside and out of the house and playing with his dump trucks.

Selene LOVES to take things out of places. If she sees me out something away, she walks/crawls (depends on how lazy she's feeling) over to it and just takes it all out again. My mom hates it but it entertains me. ;p

My 3 year old daughter LOVES to walk around in my heels and carry my purses. She's ALWAYS in my jewlery too...:) I think it's so cute but she still has a while before she can go out in public with them on.

I purchased the "Your baby can read" for my grandson" when I put in one of the DVD's for him no matter what he is playing with he stops to watch the DVD. You would think it would be boring for them, but he loves it. He loves to play with anything musical. He loves to press all the buttons and watch the collors light up.

My daughter has been walking for awhile and her favorite pass time is getting into mischief and playing with her older siblings she is very cocky and does stuff just to see if we are paying attention....thinks she is very funny most of the time....which she is but we won't let her know that

My girl loves peachtree tv she gets mad wen we change the channel.. also like blocks and books ... my two cats too she likes pulling the older one tail. but he never will bite her so thats good :)

Isla will be 11 months on the 26th and she loves music and dancing, although she isn't walking yet, she moves her body to the tune. She just got the idea of rolling the ball back and forth, loves to empty and fill baskets. She loves cats and dogs, but calls them all "kit-cat."

Preston, turned 11 months on the 20th as well!! My son loves to jump up in down in his bed! He just does his little belly laugh and could do it for hours! He also loves puppy dogs and will even say do do (he hasnt gotten the g sound figured out yet). He also loves to help when mommy or daddy are cooking in the kitchen he will get the pasta strainer and plastic bowls out for us and bang them around on the floor. Very curious! My son isn't walking yet either alone, but he will walk around if he has something to push around on the floor.

My daughter is almost a year! She loves to make noise. She loves all her musical instruments. She "sings" with the music and loves to shake her head and bounce; her version of dancing. Peek-a-boo is a big hit. Chasing the cat and reading too :)

My son also turned 11 months on the 20th.. He LOVES balls and taking things out of his toy box and putting them back. He's getting very good at hide and seek, and we're working on getting him to take the sippy cup. He's not walking yet, and doesn't seem to be close yet, but I'm not rushing anything.. I'm just enjoying him growing. Man, how did time go this fast?

My son just turned 11 months on the 20th & he LOVES playing with his balls--he will either throw it & go get it & throw it again or he will play with another person, rolling or throwing it back & forth. He loves all the rest of his toys. I do read to him often, but he doesn't like to sit still & listen. We haven't tried painting yet. My son is fascinated with dogs.

Oh I can't wait to be able to take him to the park. It's been so cold and muddy here. he just got to sit in the grass for the first time this week (well since he was 6 months old) and he loved pulling it up and throwing it but refused to crawl on it :)

My boy just started walking and all he wants to do is grab my hand and walk me all over the place to explore. He also loves throwing bark all over himself at the playground and crunching gum leaves from the garden. We haven't tried painting yet but sounds like a fun thing to do.
