What kind of vacation can you have with a 15 month old?

Vacation starts today and we can't come up with any good ideas. FYI Hudson is very active so we are always chasing him.

we just got back from a 2 week vacation camping with our over active 14 month old. We were a 5 min walk from the beach and the campsite had an indoor pool in case of bad weather. He had a blast and was tired out every night! It was the best vacation we have ever had!

we just got back from Savannah and Tybee Island Ga. (the beach). It was wonderful! Plenty of open space to run and play in... sand to scoop, shells to spot, waves to run from... it was awesome! That's mu suggestion!

Thank you for your suggestions. I guess having one child isn't as challenging as 3.

We have 3 kids- 5 1/2, 3 1/2 and 15 mo.

My favorite kind of vacation with kids is the kind where you have no place to be at any particular time and you are surrounded by beauty.

We enjoy going to the beach. Our favorite vacation spot is Seaside Oregon which is relatively close to us. We've rented a cottage in the past. Last time we visited, we got a hotel room. The kids always enjoy playing in the sand and we rent these bikes you can ride on the beach with little trailers on the back for the kids.

We also have been camping the past two summers. This Summer was interesting since the baby is walking now. I was glad to have some toys to occupy her with so she'd stop trying to go near the campfire. We also have a high chair that folds up very compact. It was a lifesaver to be able to set that up at the campsite so she could have someplace to be contained during mealtimes. She really enjoyed toddling around the campsite and sometimes she'd venture out into the main loop with me following behind to see where and how far she'd wander.
