It has been a long time since I wheened my other babies to whole milk and the sippy cup-- any tips? Like what to do in the morning, at night, or when they are crying? My baby is beast fed but has bottles when I am at work.

I'm JUST starting to wean as of today. Our nurse recommended adding 1 oz of whole milk to the breast milk for 1 week, then if everything is OK add 2 oz the next week and so on until it's all whole milk. We tried it today without any issues! Hoping it continues that way! My supply is seriously dwindling! Ready to be detached from my pump!

I have a 5 1/2 year old and a 11 month old. I would start mixing 2 ou of Milk (Red) with 4 ou of formula. Then after one week I would mix 3 ou milk 3 ou formula. Week three would be 4 parts milk 2 ounce formula and so on. Seems to have worked with my oldest and I starting it with my 11 month old.

I'm also breastfeeding but he has the bottle during the day (breasfeed morning and night)
I started mixing the whole milk with the formula (did not like the transition to whole milk alone) started with 3/4 formula 1/4 whole milk, after he got used to that then I when 1/2 formula 1/2 milk and then 1/4 formula 3/4 milk and then he gets used to tasting the whole milk that you can just eliminate the formula.

I didn't ween just switched and it was fine I made sure he could drink out of the sippy cup and threw out all bottles he eats more food and relies less on the milk
