i started taking my baby out for walks once i was allowed to by my doctor. i had a c section and wasnt allowed to hold pretty much ANYTHING but the baby for 6 weeks but i could START resuming my activities after 2 weeks and thats what i did. i started going down to the park trails and walking when she was almost 2 weeks old. it helped me get my strength back plus i could lose my baby weight and it the fresh air helped baby sleep. my doctor said there was nothing wrong with it. now my baby is 14 weeks and we go fort walks at least 2 times a week. its also a great bonding experience cuz she will sit there and "talk" to me while we walk around. she loves the outdoors!!!
I started taking my son out for walks at about 2-3 wks... he is 7 wks now. I try to go early in the am when it isnt too hot out yet. Its good exercise for you & it always puts my son to sleep so by the time we get back I can take a nap myself as well =)

We took our Daughter Brielle for a walk I think just a few days after getting home from the hospital, so within the first week. And ever since we try to go for walks every other day, sometimes everyday because she really enjoys it and it ofter puts her to sleep. Also good exercise for me :)

Yes we have. My baby is 1 month already & her first outing was for mothers day to her grandpas house. I wanted to wait til atleast she was a month before exposing her to people. It was great & she slept the whole time which was like 25 minutes each way.

I had our little guy outside for half an hour when he was just a few days old! I think if it is not to cold or windy whenever you want to take him out woyld be just fine. Our first kid we HAD to talk for a walk to get her to sleep. I know the kids always feel better and so do I after we've been outside!
