I think Blake is teething his molars, they are right there in the gums, he is dribbling and sometimes has dribble rash on his chin. He also has what i think is teething diarrhoea, any ones babies had/has this, been this way for a couple of weeks but no teeth yet, been to the doc and given a sample to make sure he is fine, and he is, no fever, happy as. So how long does teething diarrhoea last?

My son will be 1 on the 25th. He has 4 teeth on top and 4 teeth on bottom in the front aready in. Now all at once, all 4 of his "fang" teeth, and all 4 1 year old molars are coming in. It is taking longer, and some side effects can be diahrea, fever, major drooling, crankyness, on the gums there will look like there is a blood blister which is ok, its just the tooth pushing threw the gums, and then there is also where it looks like a regular blister which is called an erupting cyst. If he has those, do not pop them, take him to a baby dentist and see what they say, because if the fluid comes out clear, then blood after that, its fine, but if puss comes out then blood, the tooth is infected. It's hard to say ho long the diahrea lasts. It can be on and off, it can last as long as your little man is teething, I was told, try a little watered down apple juice because that can help harden his poop. But also, they could have a reaction that will make the diahrea worse, so if you havent given it to him yet, I wouldnt try it yet. Also, try real bananas. That has helped with my sons diahrea.

Mine always gets the teething diarrhea too and i thikn she's teething her molars right now too. but i have a feeling the diahrrea might last longer with the molars since they take longer to come out. she's been drooling for the last few weeks....then a fever on easter day, just cranky all the time. im going to ask my doc at her apt tomorrow.
