Almost 4 month old wont take a nap

My son will be 4 months Aug. 26th and decided here recently that he was a big boy and didn't want to take any naps during the day. I give him a bath around 8-9pm and he falls right asleep after it, then he will sleep until about 5am wanting another bottle, after that he sleeps again until about 10-11am and is UP! He absolutely will not take a nap during the day. Occasionally he will for about 10 minutes but thats it. I just need some advice on if this is normal and if him teething could be affecting his naps? Anything would be greatly appreciated!!

Teething does affect naps, my son only takes cat naps, on average 2 naps a day of a maximum of 30minutes each. U can be lucky he sleeps that well during the night, mine doesn't, lol!

my son is 4 1/2 months old he does the same thing but he only takes one nap from 11:30am to 1:00pm and then when 9pm comes around he doesnt want to go to sleep but when he finally does go to sleep..he sleeps til 9:30am...but sometimes he dont nap at all and he's cutting teeth so he dont sleep often...but he thinks if mom and dad are up then im going to be up lol..

Try a earlier bed time. The experts say that the earlier u put them to bed the better they sleep. Also maybe your baby is overtired or sleeping in to late?

My daughter does the same thing but she does take naps everyday but like u said it'll only be for a few minutes & now that I read ur post Im thinkn it may because of the teething cause she has a hard time falling asleep always suckin on her hands then falls asleep but since I started noticing her teething her naps have been shorter.. but I feel since they sleep through the night it shouldnt be a problem for you the only thing is if you are like me and try to get things done during naptime..
