Just 1week and 4 days til my due date and if she doesn't come by then I may flip out, LOL! Congrats to those who have arrived and I'm looking forward to hearing/reading all about so please leave her birthday story with all the details!!!

Had a beautiful baby girl on April 2 (10 days early just like her sister). We had a great home birth experience with labor lasting only 9 hours, and 20 minutes to push her out. She is just shy of 9 pounds and I didn't tear at all. Yeah! She is a very easy, mellow baby and her big sister gives her lots of kisses every day. I can't stop thinking about how much fun it's going to be to watch my two girls grow up together. Riding bikes, playing house, dressing dolls, etc. Loving every moment.

My little guy was due April 15, but came via scheduled c-section March 29. We learned a week before he was born that he had a heart defect, so he unfortunately has not yet come home from the hospital. He will be having surgery next week to correct part of the defect and then hopefully will be home within a week of that. Despite the fact that he is still in the hospital and will need heart surgery, I am extremely happy to have carried him to 37 wks 4 days considering my daughter was a 27 wk preemie and I spent most of this pregnancy on bed rest and dealing with pre-term labor. He's such a trooper and we're so proud of him!

Thanks Jessica! Thankfully my early labour stopped and she's still tucked away inside her very uncomfortable Mommy! We're hoping she holds on for a least another weeks and gets to 37 weeks.

Congrats Amber, I'm so happy for you and your new baby girl! I got teary eyed reading about it just thinking of my big day, which hopefully will be April 7th. They are inducing me on April 7th so hopefully all will go as planned for my big day too. I am scared about the ripping part but I know just as you said it will all be worth it! Good Luck Melaina I wish you a wonderful healthy baby! You will be in my prayers! Nettie, I totally agree good idea girl. I suggest because it was your idea =that you start community that you manage called birth stories! wow that would be awesome and then all the mommies of circle of moms can post all their birth stories in one place even moms that had there babies 40 years ago or so and we can compare medicine and technology then to now too all while reading wonderful inspiring stories. Great idea, let me know if you are willing to start this community so I can look out for it for when I have my story ready! :D

Congrats Amber! We need to have some sort of sticky for the birth stories, so that the birth story conversation stays at the top & we can easily check it and add to it. I don't know how to do that though.

Congrats Amber! My little girl may also be a March baby, but it depends on what happens in the couple of days! It is still four weeks to her due date, but she isn't waiting. She dropped at only 33 weeks, and the last couple of days I've had contractions coming and going, as close as 2 minutes apart, and I'm getting really really sore! I'm off to the doctor in an hour to see if any progress has been made! I was stuck in prolonged latent labour with my son for 11 days though, so I'm not expecting good news today.

mine is a MID-March baby...my little girl was born march 14th (3 weeks early)

i went into labor at 37w1d. it was so easy for me (lucky, i know!). my contractions started at 4pm on saturday and were about 4 minutes apart. by the time i got to the hospital, they were 2 minutes apart. they gave me the epidural and broke my water at 11:15pm. around 4:00 i started feeling the contractions on my right side, so the anesthesiologist came in and upped the medicine. he was in there for about 20 minutes waiting for it to take effect (which it never really did). the doc came in at about 4:30 and checked me & said i was ready to go! i started pushing at 4:50 and i had her at 5:15am (12hrs of labor, accounting for the time change that night). the epidural was so great that i was laughing and joking through most of my labor and the whole delivery!! the hard part didnt come until the epidural wore off... during the delivery, i tore a tiny bit in 3 different spots & had to have stitches. its a pain to care for them and it felt like i had horrible sunburn down there for about a week. the spray stuff they give you helps but its still not fun :S ... but even with the pain (and sleep deprivation), its SO worth it!!! my daughter is so wonderful and i wouldnt change a thing that happened!
