Are you feeling your babies move yet?

I am 19 weeks tomorrow and there's been times where I think I might be feeling my baby but I'm not sure at all! Anxiously waiting to really "feel" the kicks and moves!! It's my first baby and I haven't really felt all that pregnant yet. I've got a really long torso so maybe that's it..... baby was also really comfy and not moving around at all at the ultrasound at 12 weeks so we'll see what happens!

My little guy is just a lot more calmer than my daughter was. She was kicking and punching the whole nine months, but finally I have been feeling my little man more often, but not nearly as much or as strongly as with my daughter. Even on the u/s he didn't move around as much as my daughter did on hers. Hoping maybe this will continue after birth and he'll be my mellow child. lol

I started to feel the rolling sensation maybe a week and a half ago- so about 15 weeks. This is my second, so had an idea what to expect. Oddly enough, I feel it most when I'm driving.

With my son, I first felt him move at about 16 weeks. I'm currently 16 weeks with our second, and I think I've felt movement a couple of times. I'm expecting to feel increasing movement now that I'm at 16 weeks and definitely looking forward to it!

I felt a "sloshing" sensation about 11 weeks. I felt the first kicks at 14w2d. Everyone told me I was crazy but I knew what it was. Even when I went to hospital the midwife tried to tell me I shouldn't be feeling anything yet but as soon as she put the monitor on me bubba gave it a few really good kicks so she apologised and said I was right.

I was like 14 weeks when I felt my baby first move or so I thought. It felt like popcorn popping. I didn't feel it again for awhile. Then when I was 16 weeks I felt in for 2.5 hours straight. Other moms say he probably had hiccups then. again i didn't feel anything for awhile. Then at 18 weeks I drank 2 glasses of OJ then went to bed. while trying to fall asleep my baby starting moving a lot. I only feel the kicks up high so i guess it just depends where he is. i love feeling those little kicks but it often bothers me that they come and then go for a couple weeks before returning again but I guess thats okay considering he is so small. just give it time, i'm sure your little one is fine. good luck and happy kicking. keep us posted. congrats

Yes, Cathleen, that's what I'd heard too, so I didn't take the tech at face value. And only a few days later (still 15 weeks) I'm definitely feeling little pokes and pushes! I'm so excited!! Even though I know from experience that in a couple of month some of those kicks will be far less fun!

Malaina - it depends on your build, the way your uterus is tilted, and if you know what youre looking for. if youre a very small build, you feel it earlier because theres no much room to grow. if its not youre first, you know what youre looking for. ask your doctor about it, i felt my first at 16 weeks and this time, at almsot 13.

I was told my ultrasound tech that its impossible to really feel the baby before 16 weeks, but I'm not sure if I believe that. I don't think I've felt mine yet though...hopefully anytime!! I'm 15 weeks tomorrow with baby number 2! I felt my son at 16 weeks.

I've been feeling it for about 2 weeks now (i'm 17 weeks 5 days) This is my second so I knew what i was looking for and what to expect. Now it's just getting more moves then just flutters.

I'm 17 weeks & 5 days...I just really started to feel it moving around this week! But to me it seems to be more when I'm sitting straight up as if I was on my computer. When I lay flat out & try to feel it....Nothing,lol

I'm 15 wks 5days and I haven't felt any kicks yet, but when I am relaxing I can fell a rolling sensation from one side to the other. My last ultrasound (I get lots since I'm high risk) showed the baby "rolling" a lot, so I'm sure that's what I feel. Can't wait for a kick though!!

oh yesss! i wasnt expecting it for a few more weeks (im now 16w5d), but since a week or so ago, i've felt it like crazy!! its still mostly when im laying down or reclined on the couch, but im feeling it more and more often.
