My little girl is 15 weeks and was napping twice a day for two hours each nap. However, in the past week and half she has been taking cat naps. Her naps can be as short as 30 minutes up to 1 hour...but for the most part they are 30-40 minutes.
She is teething and I was just wondering if that could be the reason for her short naps.

My son also had a very short nap before (30-60 mins each). After 19 weeks, his naps are getting longer (1.5-2 hr) and he also can sleep longer at night (5-6 hr straight). I usually put him into the crib awake (or when he is sleepy) and do let him cry (sometimes he doesn't). He eventually can fall into sleep by himself and can sleep longer. Have you trained your little one to sleep? My son is not yet teething though.

My son is 14 weeks and i am going through the same thing. His naps are usually 45 minutes exaclty, its like he has a little alarm clock set. He also doesnt sleep through the night. Its very frustrating and it does make it hard to accomplish anything!

my little one is doing the same thing. if she is sleeping through the night might explain the cat naps so she can sleep all the way through and she might feel like she missing out on everything
