My son threw a red crayon in his laundry basket. I washed the clothes and now there is small red spots over almost all of his clothes. Is there any hope in getting it out?

try to put a paper towel or a piece of scrap cotton clothe on top and iron hottest temp possible for your sons clothing. if it's wax crayons it should come out and stick to the paper towel. that's how I got candle wax out of some clothes. it's worth a try!
if there is only color left not actual crayon wax, just try a stain remover.

scrape off as much of the crayon as you can then spray both sides of the crayon mark with wd 40 and let sit on paper towel for about 10 minutes. after it's set put dish soap on and work it from the back of the material with your fingers. you'll see the crayon coming out on the paper towel. rinse in the sink with boiling water. wash on regular cycle with color safe bleach detergent. before drying just give a check to make sure all the stains are out. if there happens to be any left just spray with stain remover and re-wash.
