Hi Im new here... And i just have a couple questions on How do you know when your son is ready to potty Train??

Hi I'm new too. I've been potty training my daughter, but it's slow going. She started telling me a while ago when she had to go poop, but she wouldn't sit on the potty. Now she'll sit on the potty, but she'll go in her underwear/training pants too. She doesn't tell us when she has to go. So basically I've been having her go on the potty first thing in the morning, which she does without fail if I wake her up. If she wakes up first she goes in her diaper. Then about 2 hrs later I have her sit on the potty every 20 minutes for 5 minutes, sometimes she goes in the potty, sometimes she misses. But I've been making it no stress, rewards when she goes in the potty. I don't get mad when she has accidents. At school she has sit on potty time every time they change her diaper now, but I don't know that she is actually ever going in the potty there.

I'd say if he tells you when he has to go, and he expresses an interest, go ahead and try. If he freaks out or something wait a few more months and try again.
