i had a growth scan at 37+3 and was told he was 6lb 3oz... which was a big relief because his daddy was nearly 10lb and my mum's first baby was 9lb 4oz!
due on sunday, and hopefully wont go too far over my due date :)

Wow I didn't know they could tell this early what the baby weighed, I think our boy is big also and we have a UC Baby appointment next Saturday (he will be 32 weeks) do you think they'd be able to tell me what he weighed I'd love to know! Congrats on your big healthy baby :)

i havent had a scan since my 20wks but i just visit the midwife and she said babys is measuring 32-34wks instead of being close to 30wks like it should but my 1st child was always ahead or her wks and was 8lb 5oz born and she was a week early but i think im gona have a 36wk scan to make sure bubs isnt to big for me to give birth

I have an u/s in another week to check size (b/c of my gestational diabetes) so I'll find our about how big he is then, but at my last one (at 30 weeks) he was measuring about the size of a 32 weeker!

I think that's pretty normal I think. I had my 32 week ultrasound on Feb 8th and they estimate my boy is around 5 lbs already (75%ile). My first was over 8lbs so he's tracking to be around the same size or bigger. I also know the ultrasound isn't an exact science to measure weight (they estimated my first at over 9lbs and he was 8.3lbs). I'd rather him to be on the bigger side than too small! Good luck!
