My son is almost 9 months and just about a month ago he got his first tooth. just in that month he has already got two more and is getting a third. That's a total of almost 4 teeth in one month. Has anyone else had their child get teeth like that?

My daughter started teething at 4 months, when the first one popped through they all starting poking through shes 9 months and is cutting #7 and 8 right now.. my nephew had 14 teeth on his first birthday. all babies are different but i believe it is genetic.

NICKY YOU CAN CHECK BY PUTTING THE BABY ON THE BED (LYING DOWN) AND MAKING HER/HIM LAUGH. YOU CAN LET THEIR HEAD HANG OVER THE BED A LITTLE SO YOU CAN SEE BETTER. THEY WILL OF COURSE OPEN THEIR MOUTH TO LAUGH AND YOU'LL BE ABLE TO SEE THEN. HOPE THIS WORKS

My son turned 9 months today and just got his first tooth last week. It is the bottom tooth and I can see the one beside it below the surface. I knew he was getting a tooth soon when he was eating his baby mum mum cracker and there was blood on it.

my son is 9 mths old on the 21st and he still has no teeth! he has had teething symptoms since 3 mths and had to large lumps on top gums but nothing has happened for him!! i have bought him a amber teething necklace and it seems to be helping him, no teething gel for the last 3 days!!! i can see 2 white lines on his bottom gum so im hoping they cut real soon!! im happy to hear im not the only oe that has a baby with no teeth yet!!!

My son will be 9 months on Jan.18 and has no teeth! I love his gummy smile and his doctor isn't worried.

Thanxs...I believe the same the worst is out the way! The first 2 can be the hardest but after a wile before yu knw it they will come rolling in with no problem. So the best of luck to yu, jus knw the worst is out the way!

Hey same Nicole! We didnt know she had popped the first tooth, but the 2nd wasnt too much fun, now that the top ones are coming through I'm beginning to wonder if they get worse and worse... people say once that first one is through the rest are easy but I think that is perhaps not the case for every baby!! Hope the rest of your son's teeth come through with no troubles!!

so im now wondering, how do you guys check for top teeth and other teeth? without getting BITTEN!! lol
and which teeth have come in, has it been bottom two, then top two? because im wondering if there are others in there but unsure how to check, got any good tips?!? lol

My son got his first 2 teeth at 4 months old. And just since the new year we have found 4 more! I thought that was alot of teeth coming in at once also! But everyone says it's normal.

My son got his first two bottom teeth at 16 weeks then got his other two at 5 months he had no more come thru till 7 1/2 months when all 4 top teeth came thru at once (lots of sleepless nights we had) but no more yet

my girl has just cut her top tooth after getting her 2 bottom teeth within a week of each other a few months ago, so it has been pretty spaced, who knows when they'll come through, i know a few babies older than mine who have no teeth at all, and another a month older that has 6, so you just dont ever know. i know the teeth are coming when she is restless at night, dribbling more, gets a bit of eczma on her cheek (in one spot!) and chew chew chews on everything, plus she has had a slight bum rash

MY BABY GOT HIS FIRST 2 TEETH AT 5 MONTHS. HE JUST TURNED 9 MONTHS AND HAS 4 TOP AND 4 BOTTOM TEETH AND IT LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER MIGHT BE COMING IN. BUT ON THE OTHER HAND HE HAS A 7 MONTH OLD COUSIN WHO WAS BORN WITH ONE TOOTH AND AS OF YET NO OTHER TEETH HAVE COME IN SO I REALLY DON'T THINK THERE'S A NORM. TEETH WILL COME IN AT THEIR OWN PACE SO DON'T STRESS OR WORRY AND JUST TRY TO KEEP YOUR BABY AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE.

I have 9 month old twin girls and one of them is currently working on cutting her first tooth. The other one cut two teeth at once when she was 6 months old. This teething business is quite an adventure!

My daughter got her first 2 teeth at 3 1/2 months. She got her top 2 at 6 months. She's working on 2 more top one, but they haven't come through yet. They're right there though, so I'm expecting them to come through pretty soon.

My son Jaivain got his 1st tooth at 6 mos soon after he got 2 more now at 8 mos he have his 2 top teeth coming through he has a hard time dealing with them coming in but soon he will have a mouth full lol and eat better.

My 9 month old has no teeth yet. My 2.5 year old never got teeth until 11 or 12 months. I heard that the later they com e in, the healthier they are. I don't know if it's true. I am in no hurry for my baby to get teeth. My older daughter never had any trouble with teething as far as fussiness, maybe because she was older? No kid ever went to kindergarten without teeth right?!

My case is eczzzactly like Jessica's....My son is actually completing 9 months by 21st.....still no teeth...!!! I am eagerly waiting for his first tooth...I dnt knw wat s happening....am very sad abt it...IS IT NORMAL?

my oldest had 7 teeth at 15 months, and he didn't get his first until about 8.5 months. However, at 15 months 2 weeks, he had 16 teeth, so 9 in two weeks. It was such a fun two weeks:)

i have 2 boys the first got his 1st tooth at at 5mths and they rest cames qiuckly after that my 8mth ol has been showing signs of teething since 4mths but nothun happened untill a week ago when one cut through but hasnt completely come up yet

My 2nd son got his first tooth at 7 months and 2 more at 8 months.
My first son was the same, had loads of teeth by the age of 1. Very normal.

My daughter is 8 months and still doesn't have any teeth, she is teething and is in sooo much pain but still not teeth. I actually have a questions, i see in stores you can buy baby food and on the side it has the months, she is currently on the 6 month food but i see 8 month food on shelves but it looks to be a little thicker, has anyone tried this? I am obviously going to wait until she has a few teeth to chew with but it looks rather thick?

My son is now 8 months and has a total of 5 teeth. three on top and two on the bottom. He started teething when he was 5 months but has had all 5 since he was 6 months. His brother who is now 20 months started teething when he was 6 months and has had all 16 teeth since he was 13 months old. But they say all kids differ.
