is anyone else worried all the time??

I've been extra crazy with this pregnancy at well. This is my 3rd pregnancy and the most difficult I've had. My girls were easy. With this one I started heavily bleeding at 8 weeks and found out that my placenta had torn 8 cm. I've been on bed rest since then. I will be going in for my 20th week this Thursday and hoping that I get some good news about the placenta tear, oh and also my placenta is right over my cervix, so I'm thinking I'm a good candidate for a c-section.

I think this must be the longest 12 weeks of our lives LOL, it is so scary!! I actually rung my doctor when my morning sickness ended at 8 weeks and this is my 4th pregnancy!! I dont think it matters how many pregnancies you have its always stressful!! Our doctors dont want to see us till 10 weeks!!! I seen my doctor last week and its all changed here now since my last baby (May 2006) and now we have to go to the womens clinic and see the ob. So that was a waste of excitemnent LOL. I seriously cannot wait to see my little one and the heartbeat!! Good luck to everyone!!!!

I have been spotting for almost all 11 weeks of my pregnancy. In fact, I didn't think I was pregnant until 8 weeks along because the spotting correlated to menstruation. We had an ultrasound and there is no placental bleed or any other problems but it is unnerving since I didn't have that at all with my other two pregancies and you don't hear of that being a common occurance.

hi this is my second pregnancy ,my first born will be 5 years next month. i didnt have any problem with her preg and it was even unexpected. i am 8 wks but i have been having this terrible abdominal pain i went for an ultrasound and was advised that everything is alright i even saw the heartbeat. but am very scared since the pain is not going away i have been put on Duphaston but i havent taken it i read on the internet that it was discontinued in the UK in march 2008 am so so worried has anyone of you taken duphaston.

i have high risk pregnancies as i have RH Disease, and i have had 4 MC's i call this pregnancy my 7th cause i stopped counting along time ago at 7...point is that i worry almost constantly also.... i have been to the hospital 4 times already with this pregnancy because of the RH problems......and i have been told not to do things like heavy lifting and such which is impossible cause i have a 30lb 16 month old, and i am single so it is not like i can ask someone else to pick her up....unfortunately i have a life and things i have to do... so i just deal with everything as it comes and HOPE for the best you know?

no, i wish I could get an ultrasound though. I want to know when I'm actually due. lol
I'm like that everyday. Every time i get cramps, i want to go in. I have diarrhea and throwing up all day, and I'm always worried!

I'm also worried all the time! I think I'm just as worried with this one, as I was with my first (who is 14 1/2 months old). I'm either in my 7th week or 8th week, and I saw my doctor as soon as I found out. She sent me for all my blood work and what not, so it'll be ready for her at my first prenatal apt. which is Sept. 8th (probably either my 10th or 11th week). She also is sending me for an ultrasound (which is later today), to date my pregnancy, so again that will be ready for her at my first prenatal. I'm really anxoius to see the ultrasound to see if everything is okay!! I'll take a little bit of stress off me.

It does always strike me as odd that the docs generally do not want to see us until 6-8 weeks. I know there isn't much they can do/see/tell much earlier, but since it is such a critical time, I can't believe they don't even sit down to talk about prenatal care. I am sure there are plenty of women out there who are on the ball and taking the necessary steps for a healthy pregnancy, but I bet there are lots who are not. just seems like it'd be better to see us sooner!

I am right there with you. I am 5 weeks, due April 16 (not yet confirmed by doc). Always panicked and always worried. I just wish I could fully enjoy and not be scared with every ache. I have a 15mo old son. Was the same way with that pregnancy. This time it is even worse b/c I had a miscarriage a few months ago. I think I am already past the same point in this pregnancy, but it just makes me a wreck. My 1st appt is on the 25th and at that time an ultrasound is going to be scheduled, probably for following week. Seems SO far away!!
Hang in there...our babies are fine and healthy and I think excessive nerves are just part of motherhood!!!

oh. i went to the doctor a few days after i found out. i was 5 weeks and 5 days. they confirmed my pregnancy and did loads of lab work. the doctor set an ultrasound up for 2 weeks later. the only thing they didnt do was a pelvic exam. are you at least taking a prenatal vitamin? i got mine at rite aid. the brand is "just once naturals" or something like that. its a two-part thing, one is just a regular prenatal multivitamin, the other has DHA in it. you should check em out!

yes I am pregnant and there isnt much they are going to be able to tell me right now. I know that I am 5 weeks and they dont really like to see women until they are after 7 weeks due to the fact that they cant even hear the heart beat until then. I think my cramping is probably just due to the fact that my body hasnt had a whole lot of time since my last child (he just turned 8 months old).

im not sure if i misunderstood, you are pregnant but you arent going to the doctor for another month? shouldnt you at least get checked out to make sure theres nothing wrong?

I have been a little crazy lately. I have been cramping a lot more than my first pregnancy so it definitely scares me. I dont want to have to go in to the doctor until september because it makes for SUCH a long pregnancy knowing this early anyway without having to deal with doctors telling you there might possibly be something wrong (when they have no idea yet). I also havent told anyone (except immediate family) so that is just adding to the stress!
