My son Vance was born April 28 and is taking 4-5 steps by himself without holding on to anything. He says Momma, Dadda, and Nanna. He knows patty cake and "YAY!" (where he claps and squeals when he does something good) He is drinking whole milk about 1-2 times a day out of a sippy cup and only has 1-2 bottles a day usually morning and night. He eats solid foods mostly anything that we eat that isn't spicy, salty, or has too much sugar.

My daughter Mihailya was born April 8. She is standing alone and cruising around on the furniture. She's testing the walking waters, so far she'll take a few steps and then fall. She can play patty cake, wave hi and bye,blow kisses and does a 'native call'(she hits her lips when she says 'Ahh'). She can say a few words, and a whole bunch of gibberish talk. She has 9 teeth and more coming in. She has 3 solid meals a day (usually what ever we're having, we used to blend it but now she can eat small chunks.) and roughly 4-6 bottles a day. She can drink from a sippy cup. (We only let her have water or juice in the sipper,she uses her bottles for her formula.) and snacks on the gerber treats. She has usually has 2 naps a day lasting between 30 mins to an hour. She learns so quickly, she'll see me do something once and within a day or two she'll have it mastered!

I'm not familiar with those conditions. I'm sure he will being up and at it in no time! Every baby progresses at their own rate! My Miira was born April 1, 2010!! She just started walking today! She crawled at 8 mo, sat up at 5 mo, said mama at 3 mo. She has been saying dada, bye bye, baby, hey for a while now! She waves bye and hello!

my 6 year old had pyloric stenosis also and had surgary at 3 weeks old and is doing great now! i also had it as a baby. my 9 month old was born april 23rd, is also wanting to crawl, gets on all fours and rocks but as of now just rolls everywere and tries to get into everything! so far no talking just babbling. she does sit and can twist to the ground with her hands but mostly just falls when she wants to roll. i swear i think shes gonna skip crawling and start walking! she gets mad when she cant get to were she wants to go!

My little girl Seynae was born April 19th, and was a week overdue. She eats 3 meals a day and says mama, dada, and baba. She loves to play hide-n-seek, blow kisses, and clap for her favorite tv shows! She started crawling at 7 months, cruising at 8, and started walking the day after she turned 9 months!! She is everywhere, and I am enjoying every minute!

My little Alfie is 9 months (will be 10 months on the 13th of this month). He has always been very forward with everything; held own head up from birth, first held own bottle at 10 days(!), on solids by 3 months, crawling by 4/5 months...

Now he is speaking (yes, no, mum, nanny, hello/hi and more) he has been for a while actually... He can feed himself with a spoon. He can walk (well, run actually!) the most steps i've counted at once have been 7. He can cross an entire room by running/walking. He climbed our entire flight of stairs last week all on his own (i was very close behind him of course). He knows how to joke, has favourite songs and tv adverts.. He has also sung and danced since he was very small (about 4months), and now his dances are the cutest, as he is standing and walking as he dances! (before he danced in his walker or on all fours).

He has seven or eight teeth (first started teething at around 3months) - i cant keep count as they keep popping out (he is teething again already).

My beautiful boy is my entire world, and i feel so lucky to have him. No matter what a child can do (or not do) they are still the most precious and special things in the world.

my son aiden was born april 19th. right now he's crawling, rolling, pulling himself up to the standing position and mouthing anything and everything he sees. he's also feeding himself finger foods. just waiting on that first word and first steps.

Well, my daughter, Rielynn was born on April 1st. Today, she is 10 months old. She took her first steps on 1-8-11 and has been walking ever since. She loves to dance. She claps when she gets excited. She can wave bye bye, but prefers to wave hello. She has 8 teeth and is eating solid food, such as, goldfish, cut up green beans, strawberries, apples, etc...She loves her big brother and calls him "bigah" for brother. She can say Mama, Dada, Mum, Neena (which is her grandma), nuh-night, baba. She sleeps 12 hours a night and takes 2, 2 hour naps a day. She is very busy. I have noticed that she is very persistent. If she can't do something, she will keep at it until she figures it out. I can and cannot wait until she is older, just to see how her personality changes. She is a joy to have in my life and she loves to smile.

My daughter is already taking her first steps, mainly for food or me! XD she loves to eat and would literally fight over food.. she is screaming and always trying to talk she says things that sound like no, mama, nana(her bottle), she is also starting to do things like help me take her out of her carseat, change her clothes(even though she still fights me sometimes).. she knows how to dance and trys to clap but gets to excited and jus bounces her wrists in the air(so cute!!) I learn more about her personality everyday, it is really starting to show now.

My daughter Alexis was born on the 2nd of April. She has 2 bottom teeth, and could eat anything you give her. Still drinks 2-3 bottles at night, and a couple during the day. She says mama and dada. She learned to sit at 7 months. No attempts of crawling. She walks everywhere in her walker. She is very expressive with her hands. Loves to watch cartoons but doesn't have a favorite.

my baby was born apr 20. she is not rolling or crawling yet either. she can sit up on her own when she wants to but alot of times she just dont want to. she just learned to roll and she tries to crawl but asnt had any luck with it yet.

My daughter Grace was born April 3rd. she has been crawling for almost 5 months now, She stands on her own, and can take up to 6 steps at a time. She says juice, kitty, dog, duck, mama, dada, this, and thank you. She really knows what she is saying...its so cute. Grace likes to "dance" and she crawls up the stairs sooooooooooo quickly. She has been trying new tablefood but still loves the stage 2 baby foods, sshe doesnt like the texture of the stage 3 ones and they make her gag. Grace has her 2 top and 2 bottom teeth and she loves to laugh and play with kids and her mommy and daddy. And she has a favorite stufed animal that she sleeps with

He is 23 pounds, 30 inches long.
He is crawling, sitting, furniture walking and took a couple of his first steps this week.
every baby progresses at their own pace though!
We just happen to have early walkers in our family.

my son Tyler was born on the 13th of april and has 6 teeth and can see more coming and is sittin up since he's 6 months has started 2 pull himself up in his cot and chairs he started pullin himself around the floor and now he's crawling since last week and say's haha, baba and mama has 3 or 4 meals a day but still not sleeping through the night and weighs roughly 25 pounds was 21 at his last check up :)

My little guy was born April 29th, 2010. He started sitting on his own at 4 1/2 months. He started army crawling at 6 and full on hands and knees by 7. He started pulling up on furniture and cruising alone it at 7 months and now can stand unassisted for short periods of time. He dances. Kisses. Gives high 5s. Claps. And says dada and huh and ya. And sometimes mama. He can feed himself food bits. Currently eats stage 2 or 3 baby food and everything I eat. he can point to my eyes nose and lips. Not his own but I am working on it. And he is amazed with shutting doors.

My son was born on April 29th and he can say mama, dada, baba. and he can sit, crawl and stand in his crib and when holding our fingers. He is also eating everything with us:) Sleeps threw the night(has been doing that since he was 2 months) Goes to bed at 7 and gets up a 8 the next day:)

my son tyrese was born on 22nd april i was induced again as i cannot get contractions as something to do with my cervix or something around there is so far up and behind? anyway he is 9 months old and he has always been so advanced due to his bigger sister thats 2. he was crawling by 6 months and sitting up he was walking along furniture by mid 7 months and he is now taking his first steps on his own and he only 9 months. but he is slow with talking doesnt really say much and he only got 2 teeth, eats soooo much i think it may be a boy thing coz my daughter never really ate that much..still doesnt! he is also the perfect weight but fits into the same size nappies as my eldest! and also he has always slept threw the night since he was atleast 1 month old. but ye im a very proud and happy mother :) x

My son Logan was born on April 7 2010 and he as of the last week is crawling, sitting on his own and pulling up into a sitting position alone, eating finger foods by himself, babbling like crazy, he can stand if I hold his hands, but he does not sleep the night consistently...he can...but not often enough lol

My daughter Genevieve was born April 14th. She started sitting up at 6 months and army crawling at 7 months, didn't start real crawling until last week and then the next day pulled herself up to stand in bed and on the furniture. She has 6 teeth. If she sees me getting out baby rice cereal and jarred fruit or veg she shakes her head no :) She wants only table food and has eaten almost everything that we eat, except fried foods and breakfast meat. Her absolute favorite foods are pancakes and grilled cheese. She loves to roll her ball back and forth and wave to daddy when he comes home and will also push the music buttons on her laugh and learn door if you tell her that you want to hear music. She can also say dada,mama,and bubba, she also knows who kitty and sissy are but hasn't given them a name yet. Even though she will do all these things so is so stubborn and doesn't like to hold her own bottle! It also took her until 8 months to sleep thru the night but now goes down at 7pm and will sleep straight thru til 7am, with two 2 hr naps!! Loving her like crazy!

My son was born April 14 and was 4 weeks premature. He is crawling and sitting on his bum and on his knees. He says momma and dadda but not really to us :) He is also standing and pushing (walking) with some of his toys. Can't believe that in a few short months he will be one. All children develop differently so comparing is just heartache. My niece didnt walk till she was 14 months or so, so all babies develop at their own pace. Since he is up on all fours I am cure it is just a matter of time before he is crawling all over and you wish he would slow down :)

I can't believe some of the April babies are talking! My daughter (4/2/10) babbles, and it sounds like she says Mama and Dada, but I am sure she does not really associate meaning yet. (my 2.5 year old did not talk until 15-18 months). My 9 month old little girl Lucy is cruising and walking wih push toys. She stands alone for about 20 sec. She is so close to walking! She is just starting to get her 1st tooth. She eats 3 meals and is still nursing exclusively (no formula, but that's mainly because she has refused the bottle all along). She still doesn't sleep through the night (aarrggg!). We are loving her so much and can't believe she's just about 10 months. Where does the time go?

My daughter was born on April 13th! 5 weeks early! only a little over 5 pounds at birth! She sits up, crawls, pulls herself to standing from any position, says mama, dada, dog, pop, laughs out loud, rambles, dances, claps her hands, high fives, waves bye bye...She's a ball of fun! But every child does everything at their own pace! She only has one tooth! lol.. just keep practicing everything with him :)

my little girl was born on the 3rd april and has had two teeth since she was 8months, she has been crawling properly for the last three weeks and now pulls herself up and walks round the furniture i have to have eyes in the backm of my head lol my eldest never crawled but went straight into walking wen she was 11months old so not long hey ! she says dada , muma, nana, wow and eats pretty much anything you give her and she has slept thru since 3 months old

Brayden was born April 8th. He loves playing with his toys and exploring the house. He started crawling around 6 months and can pull him self up and walk around the couch. He's starting to let go and stand on his own. he is eating solids 3 times a day, but still not sleeping through the night. He has 6 teeth and 2 more on the way. He can says dada and mama. He such a happy little guy and we love watching him grow!!!

My 9 mo old daughter is crawling, furniture cruising & eating solid foods. She "shhs" everyone & it's her code for everything! She shhs the dog, us,& it means "come here," "leave me alone," & "be quiet." She still laughs whenever she passes gas, looks for her Daddy when I make her mad... She's quite the curious one - if we hide the remote, she goes in search of, LOVES being in the bathtub,still only has 2 teeth but her top 2 are trying to push through, still doesn't sleep through the night & loves being outdoors. She hates wearing shoes & even removes her socks whenever we're lucky enough to get them on her. She loves to dance & even tries to "sing" along. She can say "dada" "bye" & "baba," but her favorite is "shhh." She doesn't like anyone to be on her Daddy & will pull heir or pinch you if you get too close to him.Enjoys watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse & dances to the "hot dog" song. She still doesn't like anyone but us to hold her but will tolerate others for short periods...

Liam was born April 11th. He was a late preterm baby born at 35 weeks. Today he is crawling like crazy. He walks along the furniture. He can say "mama" "dada" "baba" and "Hi". He can pull himself up and is on solids 3 times a day. He mostly sleeps through the night but as every one he has his bad days.

well my little Savanna was Born on April 28th, she is sitting up and crawling ( matter of fact she is at my feet now ) pulling up and saying dada and bubba. and she is all over the house..... Man i have i forgotten how hard it is to keep up with a crawler. she just now has teeth coming in and she eats just about everything i eat and she sleeps through the night like a charm :)

My dd is 9mnths today and can crawl super fast, pull up on everything and sad for 20 secs by herself, still only really says dada and buba. Can wave bye bye and hello and just started singing n dancing together.. Hi 5's are getting pretty consistent but yet to clap when asked.. Puts balls in her giraffes mouth all the time now and taking lots of steps behind anything that moves :) such a proud mummy!

Jillian was born on April 24, emergency c-sec due to a placental abruption. I didn't get to spend the first 2 weeks with her and the next two weeks were spent with a friend caring for her. She had a small head until she was 7 months, hit all of her milestones later than her 3 older sisters, but she is crawling EVERYWHERE (lol) sitting, pulling herself up onto to standing by using the couches, eats 3 meals a day but that's a struggle and still doesn't sleep through the night.

My daughter Jasmine was born on 23rd April. 9 months today !! Her top 2 & bottom 2 teeth are though. So far no problems. She is a dream sleeper compared to her brother who is 12 months older. She is crawling from one end of house to the other. You can't stop her. She is pulling herself up and taking steps with her walking pram. She thinks she is very clever. She is a very happy baby and is always smiling. Friends call her :smiley girl".

My daughter Brooklyn was born April 13th. She can roll over both ways, crawl all over the place and loves to stand up, just hasn't started walking around furniture yet. Also she can sit good, says only momma, dada. And is doing good with her baby food fruits and veggies, toast and crackers! Trying now to get her to drink some of her formula outta a sippy but she isnt too fond of the idea.

hey hun im sure blake will do it in his own time all babys do it their way my son whos is 9 months is doing everything you would expect him and more as he was 9 weeks prem. but my friends daughter is 14 months and is not crawling yet. but for the first time yesterday she got on all 4's didnt crawl but at least she is starting .. but thats down to her now spending alot of time with my little one who is on a a mission .. try not to worry hun he will suprise you one day soon x

My son Marc was born April 8. He spent his first week in the NICU because he was born with a fever and had an infection. He recovered well and hasn't fallen sick since then. He has 6 teeth and eats solids 3 times a day, and he loves food. He sits on his own, crawls faster than I ever thought possible and is cruising along the furniture. Sometimes he will hold onto a box and walk from one side of the living room to the other. He has taken a couple of steps on his own. He says mama and baba, and enjoys turning the pages on his favorite books

My daughter Ada was born on 8th April, she is now standing up on her own, cruising, clapping hands, says dad and dog. On the odd occasion she will say mama. She eats three solid meals a day and drinks water from a pop-up bottle. Talks all the time and loves going swimming. My son was born on April 8th. He started teething quite early and just got his 10th tooth!! (with another one ready to come out any day). He walks all over the furniture and with walking toys. He finally started crawling properly, been doing the army drag for about 2 months. He`s eating 3 full meals a day (most of them are the same as what I`m eating) and small snacks throughout the day. He says mom, dad, baba and stinky. He can wave and blow kisses, he`s very persistent with everything he does..No is not a part of his vocabulary but we`re still trying to incorporate it..lol
I`m sure there`s much more that he does but this is pretty much all the main things.

My daughter was born April 20th.. she began to sit on her own at 4 months, and she started to learn to hold her bottle at 4 months.she just learned how to crawl and she says mama, dada and daddy. she can stand if shes holding on to something. She understands the word NO and gets upset when I say it lol. She eats jar baby food and all the crawler stage snacks also some table food. and she has 4 teeth, 2 on top and 2 at the bottle she got them at 7 months. and her favorite movie is nemo and monsters Inc. She gets so excited when I put it on

My little girl Zoey was born April 27th. She crawls so fast and pulls up on furniture. She just started waving and clapping. She dances especially when Mickey Mouse comes on. She tries to climb things and is very curious. She takes two naps a day and sleeps 11-12 hours a night straight. She is starting to cruise around on the furniture alot. She gives kisses too. :) she's the light of my life. She says mama and dada and baba. She eats 3 solid meals a day and loves strawberries. She also has three bottles a day. Enjoy your little ones!

Maya was born early on April 28th. She is sitting, crawling, cruising along furniture, dancing, and just starting to stand on her own. She eats solid foods, but still nurses. She says: mama, dada, nini (for night night when she is tired), nuh (nurse), ell (Ellie - sister), jasp (Jasper - brother). She just starting to wave and clap, but she's been giving high fives for a while.

My Baby Girl Shaleah, was born on the 11th April and is now 9 months old. Shaleah has 2 teeth(and teething quite bad poor little thing.) She stands all by herself and is so close to walking.She is just starting to learn how to wave hello and goodbye.Mum mum mum was her first word but da da da is now her favourite word.

my daughter was born on the 28th April, she didnt roll until after she started crawling which was a few weeks ago, she is looking like she wants to start pulling herself up on things now, and has made bedtime a nightmare because all she wants to do is roll around, sit and crawl in her cot hope this passes soon, she has also been waking a few times in the night instead of long sleeps, and has two bottom teeth, a top one cut, and another one on the way.
Tip: I have heard that to help your baby learn to sit up, place them in a washing basket so they can sit but not fall, and eventually they will strengthen their core muscles and be able to sit. funny how babies reach milestones differently eh

my little girl Eva was born on the 9th of april, she can say dada, dad, cugle, goy, bubba and car :) she loves her food but still has no teeth. she sat by her self at 5 months and army crawled at 8 months the crawled at 9 months.she pulls her self up on furniture too. she can wave clap and is a happy little thing except when its bed time. she used to be put down at all sleeps awake and would go straight to sleep but now she knows better than mummy haha
she weighed 9.1 pound when born and is now 10kgs and has been 97 percentile for height and weight since born :)

My son was born on 13 April. He sits & gets onto his knees to crawl but usually fall flat onto his tummy again. He is very active. Has two naps during the day & eats 3 solid meals a day. He has two bottom teeth & I'm thinking the top two are coming through because he has been very niggly over the last 2 weeks. He used to sleep through the night, but not anymore. Usually wakes up 2 - 3 times for a bottle or his dummy. He says a few words, mainly dada, hey and hello. Can't believe how quickly he is growing up!

Emily was born on April 5th. She is the fastest crawler I've ever seen!! Her favorite game is hide and seek! She's been cruising around the furniture since about 6 months and has recently been getting more brave and taking steps from one object to the next. She can walk across the room if I stand her up and sit in front of her and just keep moving back. She wants to eat everything!! She recognizes animals (her toys.. cat, dog, cow, pig, monkey). If you ask her to find one of them she can do it almost every time. She knows the sign for 'more', and we're working on 'all done'. She dances on command and can jump up and down if you tell her to as well. She says dada all day long but will only call for mama if she's upset. She said cat for a week straight and then stopped. She tries to say other words too. She waves hi and bye. I can't believe how fast she is growing up!!!!!!

My little boy Brycen Beau was born on April 19th, he spent the first 10 days in the hospital recovering from pneumonia. He jhas been happy and healthy ever since. he said his first word mama at 5 months, and can now say mama, dada, buba, baba, bye and one partial sentance "mama baba" when he is hungry. He started his "army crawl" when he was 7 months and started to crawl on his hands and knees at 8 months. He pulled himself up to standing at 8 months and hasnt stopped, he is currently "cruising" walking around holding onto the furniture, we are just waiting for him to take those first steps on his own. Im still trying to get him to hold his own bottle, he is very determined not to do so.
