Hi, My name is Diana, I am 23 years old recently moved to glendale AZ from Wisconsin and it has been a rough transition. My husband it medical student and I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby girl in November. I spend most of my time alone with our infant and would love some ideas about things to do and explore.

Hi Diana! Im new to this state too we moved here last september, Although my husband isn't new here he has lived here since he was 6 yrs old. Anyway, me and my husband and baby boy live in Peoria Arizona, so we actually live close to each other. My baby boys name is Logan and he was born last July so he is now 9 months old but thats ok our babies could still have fun together!

I'm also a stay at home Mommy and my baby boy needs to have some sort of interaction with other babies too! I am looking for a playdate with a married mom with a baby around my sons age and who also lives close by and you seem to fit that.

Ttyl! ♥

I moved here from MN about 5 years ago. Now I have 2 kiddos and live in North Phoenix. (Up until a couple months ago I also lived in Glendale) There are a lot of fun things to do here. Glendale is fantastic with providing a lot of fun events. You should get Glendale Connections with your water bill that will tell you what is happening in the local libraries and any events they are having in down town. Just this past weekend they had the chocolate affair. During the summer they usually have live music on Thursdays. On top of that there is the Sajaro (spelling is wrong here) ranch park. It's an old ranch with peacocks, chickens, cats with beautiful grounds and lots of plant life. We loved to walk around there. The botanical gardens and the phoenix zoo are fun but cost money to get it. We also just went to the goldfield ghost town in apache junction that also was fun. :) Not too mention all the hiking in various mountians. Hope this helps! :)

Hi Ladies,

I just recently moved back to AZ. I was in Florida the past 3 years while my husband was getting his master at USF. I also live in Glendale and am a stay at home mom. My son was just born in December.

Hey, Im new to arizona also! been here for a month. I'm 26, I have a 1 year old daughter. I grew up in Gurnee, IL and have a bunch of friends still in the racine/kenosha, Wis area. I'm out in Queen Creek, and like you spend my time cooped up in this house since I have no clue what there is to do out here. My husband works for Direct TV as an installer and only has sunday off, so my days are extremely uneventfull!! Let me know if you come across anything to do in this state with a 1 year old, because I'm desperate! And i would love to find my daughter some little friends to interact with!

Hi, Diana! My family and I also moved to Glendale from Atlanta, GA last year. It's been rough for us too. It's hard to meet new people. There is a great MOPS group that meets at Christ's Community Church the first and third Friday of every month. I have met a great bunch of women in this group. Let me know if you're interested and I'll send you the contact information.

Hi Diana.  My name is Amanda and I live in Avondale.  I stay home also , with my 10 month old son.  We go to the local library for activities like 'babies and books'.  It's a great way to meet local mothers who probably also stay home.

Hi Diana! I moved to the Phoenix area a little over 10 years ago from Minnesota all by myself and was pretty lonely when I first got here. I am really into cars, so I joined a car club and immediately had a very large circle of friends (this is how I met my husband).

We were living in Chandler and moved to the Southwest Valley (Goodyear) in the fall of 2000 and immediately didn't really have any friends anymore because no one wanted to commute. We joined a local church and are now surrounded by many wonderful people from our church family and couldn't ask for better friends or more things to do.

CCV is an excellent church in the Northwest Valley and probably a great place to connect with some really great people. We attend Palm Valley Church down here in Goodyear.

Best of luck and congrats on your new baby daughter!
