How do you split your time so that all your children get enough attention?
I'm pretty lucky in the fact that my daughter wakes up earlier than my son, so we have at least 30 minutes to ourselves. Usually later in the day my daughter plays on her own for a little bit, so I have time alone with my son. Plus, my husband and I try and take each of them out individually, even if it's just something simple like going to the store.
Do have any tips for handling sibling rivalry?
If rivalry is code for fighting, then yes. I tend to separate them the best I can until they cool down and are willing to play with each other again.
Moms of multiples are often experts at multitasking. Have you discovered a shortcut or trick that all moms could use?
You have to find a system that works for you. I have everything that is associated with each other in the same area. Example: I keep their socks separated in a drawer using those drawer separation thingy's (very technical term) and then their shoes are separate onto different shelves within an arm's reach from their socks. I'm also big about planning ahead and having everything laid out so it cuts down on the time it takes to get out of the house in the morning.
