What topics do you cover in your blog?

I write mostly about my family - I am a wife and stay at home mom to two girls: Harper who is 3 and Hollis who is 9 months. I write about my faith and a little about fashion, decorating and cooking along with mostly just mom stuff. I want to be an encouragement to those who come to read.

What's unique about raising children in the South?

I didn't know how we do things in the south was so different until I started getting blog readers from all over and they love to let me know how we dress our kids different and go about things differently. I think Southerners tend to go overboard (in a good way). We love to dress our kids up in smocked clothes and HUGE bows and we love to throw big parties and we love to cook food. We raise our kids to love sports and have good manners and in church. I love living in the south and can't imagine living anywhere else. I love the uniqueness of Southerners.

What's a great place for a family to vacation in the South?

My favorite place is Gulf Shores/Orange Beach, AL. It's such a fun, small town that is family friendly but has beautiful beaches. They have great seafood restaurants. It's just a sweet little town and place to visit.
