If I Was In Charge At the White House For One Day, I Would...

The job of a chief executive is to articulate a big vision that calls the nation to our higher selves and a bold policy agenda that puts legs onto the vision. If I only had one day, right now I'd focus on job growth. You can't increment yourself out of an economic crisis, you have to grow yourself out of it. That takes investment and investment takes revenue. I'd take the Tea Partiers on directly and in so doing use my bully pulpit to have a conversation with America about the real American values of justice, fairness, and mutual responsibility.
